Dr. Charles Alexander Evans

I went to Dr Evans for about 6 years. I never seen his face until one of his Nurse Practitioners put me in the icu. They had me on up to 15 different medications. They were treating me for high blood pressure and diabetes, I have low blood pressure btw, and no diabetes.. once I started to recover from this traumatic experience, I finally met him after I had received a letter saying he was dismissing me as his patient. Well after a long talk about how he fired that NP and all of my experiences there he put me directly under his care, which I felt good with at first. He then had me coming in once a week to see how the pain in my feet and legs were, same everyday for over a year, and I could not afford that. Anyway he sent me another letter dismissing me as his patient, left me high and dry, I was not in the right state to not have a doctor.. after 2 months I was able to see my new doctor. During that time I was having crippling anxiety and depression. He up and left me to handle this in my own. My new doctor did more for Me in one visit than he did for me in 6 years. He should be ashamed of himself for doing his patients like that.. after all his practice contributed to my decline in health.. I do NOT recommend at all!!!! He is dangerous!!

Revised: Dr Evans is available now to see sick patients and this guy is very sharp. The staff has always been amazing but it’s even better now. I think DJ at the front window sets a good vibe and is a gem. I really wish I could get my full work ups again worked out with insurance. They had so many tests available like extremity blood flow, ekg, but I can’t go out of pocket for a yearly preventative care. Also seems like they should have a simple X-ray machine.

Excellent staff, all around. Dr Evans and Tracy and AnnieSue care about the whole patient and wellness of the individual. The front office staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. I am so grateful that the physician and nurse practitioners don't focus on pharmaceuticals and rather go to the heart of the matter to find out why I am having symptoms. 5 stars : )

Amazing office, they work to improve your health and well being

Excellent doctor and staff if you are looking to make meaningful, lasting change in your lifestyle. They provide comprehensive care with an emphasis on exercise and nutrition.

Great doctor when you can actually get them to answer the phone or return your messages to setup an appointment. Left both voicemail as well as an email with zero response…. Will be finding a new doctor immediately.

Dr. Evans and everyone in the office listens very well and works quickly to get you what you need. Definitely recommend!

You guys NEED SICK VISIT DOCTORS not nurse practitioners. Dr Evans doesn’t see sick visits. I love the wellness checks but it can’t be my family’s Doctor without a Doctor.

I love coming here. I have never had to wait more than 15 mins for my appointment. Everyone is professional and friendly. I've come here for checkups for years but have never actually met Dr. Evans though. I have seen Sophie and that works for me. ????‍♀️

I started going to Dr. Evan’s in 2018 after a girlfriend recommended him to me. We both are from California & work together for years as Peace Officers for the state of California. We both took very early retirements due to stress among other systematic problems. We are getting older & needed healthy alternatives & real answers to deal with our aging bodies. Dr. Evan’s & his staff are professional, kind and they offer a healthy lifestyle w/o compromising your health in other areas of your body while trying to just make you feel better while treating your symptoms. Dr. Evans & his staff figure out your root causes of your illnesses and through a healthy diet, vitamins, minerals and other alternatives, your medical issues are dissolved. Dr. Evan’s gives each person a personal consultation as he read your blood to tell you every thing, including the functionality about each & every organ, your arteries & tissues in your body. I’ve scheduled a new patient consult with Dr.Evans twice and the front office had the appointment time wrong the first time (yes I write appointments down in my calendar as I make them so I know it was on the time I had in my calendar..) and the second time I was told I didn’t have an appointment at all...(for the rescheduled appointment from the first visit) .. I have never had a Dr. sit and talk with me for longer than 15 minutes. Dr. Evans spoke with me until I understood what I needed to be a healthy person. I appreciate the patience and kindness that I experience every time I go into the office. Angela is amazing.

Moved both mine and husbands records over to them last year for primary care. Have not seen Dr. Evans personally one time but I can tell you that ALL of his staff are wonderful! From the front office staff , to nurses and lifestyle coaches... even the vampires that take your blood! I am so glad that we made this move!

The front staff is awfully. I had see the doctor on a Friday and he wanted to do fasting blood work. I told him I worked and it was difficult for me to take off. He told me no problem the person that does the blood work was in early. I told him I sometimes had problems with the people at the front desk. He told me no problem I could come in about 7:45 and someone would be at the office. They were with the door locked. Okay just a bad morning. At 8:30 I asked when I was going to be seen. Was told you cannot be told that because the person in front of you is a very hard stick and we do not know how long it will be!! Okay first person here!!! Why was he in front of me???? Because he was her "friend" !!! So I wait and wait. Asked at 8:45 same answer!!! So at nine I told the person at the front desk do not worry about me I am leaving. Alos I had been seeing Jackie for tattoo removal Jackie told me to come in anytime. Person at the front desk told me it was too soon Jackie would not see me. So not a good place. I went to Dr. Evans because he was thought to be a great doctor for diabetes. I gave my medical history of course on my first visit including the fact that I had just recently had a section of my colon removed due to colon cancer. He gave exhaustive blood screens of several pages for some valid things and many junk science things, such as my CoQ10 level. Each blood screen showed that there was a high level of cortisol. I'm not a doctor. I trusted him to be the doctor. He never checked my C-reactive levels to see if cancer was still present. He had my medical history, but he was never involved in my treatment there as best as I can tell. His staff did everything. I had to throw a tantrum to get a single conversation with him and that was about diabetes and the treatment his staff were giving. The entire time I spent with him cancer was spreading throughout my body and manifesting in my lungs. I am dying now, albeit slowly via chemo. This could have been caught at a stage that was treatable had he checked my baseline markers that indicate cancer. When I finally realized that he was practicing what everyone around me told me was junk science I had three tumors in my lungs. My original general practitioner caught it immediately via a simple blood test when I returned or I'd not be here now. All that time spent with Dr. Evans was wasted, fruitless and in my opinion he was responsible for what will ultimately be my untimely death due to a lack of diagnosis that a few cancer cells had escaped and were circulating and taking root in my lungs. What doctor would not have screened for cancer? One that was not paying attention to the patient is all that I can come up with. If you enjoy fruit slices in water you're in for a treat. If you are worried about your health I think that you are going to the wrong place based upon my experience. Your mileage might vary. I have been going to Dr Evan's office for almost three years now. I have actually been seeing Melissa for the past year (approx.) My last visit with her, I mentioned that I was suffering more often with my "Restless Leg". This was the first time I had mentioned the problem to her since I wasn't sure if doctors even recognized it as a problem. She looked at the supplements I had been taking and suggested that I try their Bio Active Complete B-Complex or if I wanted she could prescribe something. Not wanting to go the prescription route I bought a bottle for $11.00. That has been the best $11.00 I have spent in a long long time. I saw her on September 12, 2016 and I have not had one attack since I started. It cannot be a coincidence since I had been having a problem every night for the past month and since I was a young adult at least one attack a month maybe more. I hate going to doctors but this office makes it a very positive experience. I am always met with a smile and that is very different some doctors where the receptionist acts like she is doing you a favor by even speaking. You guys rock, Keep up the good work. I have just started going to Dr Evans. The staff there are amazing, they have a great team. They help you every step of the way. They do all they can to make you feel overall good. They don't pump you with a lot of medicine, their honest and very thorough and this is what I have been looking for. I've been to this dr 4 times. Hopefully this is my last time, simply because I'm tired of seeing a specialist. Maybe I get good news. Once I waited a while, dr Sloan was out. The lady that works under him is very pleasant. Dr Sloan is nice, but talks too fast sometimes. The staff isn't rude, they handle business. So if they need records from your regular dr & they don't get them on time, they take care of business. They don't like to be held up or slackers on the other end. Neither do I.

Dr Evans kept me waiting for 3 hours. Once I was with him he seemed unfocused and rambled a lot My experience with him made me feel like he didn't know what he was doing. Staff also were unorganized, loud and sharp with their encounters with the patients. He also ordered test that were not authorized by my insurance plan he also over charges the patient and insurance company. He is always trying to push you to buy his vitamins and it feels like more of a sales pitch than a doctors visit.. I really Like the staff.The nurse practitioner are very good! I have never actually seen Dr. Evans. He has created his own medicines and believes in them, So yes they do recommend them to you,but it is totally your choice if you buy them or not if you choose not to they will also recommend over the counter medicine to help.
