Maybe I saw him when he was having a difficult day, but he seemed to size my problem up without asking much more than the broader questions related to my history of nasal polyps. He did not ask any--not a one--after I told him I came down with bacterial meningitis following surgery extracting one polyp. I thought he was perfunctory in manner. His endoscopic exam was brief, just to note that polyps were present, but not examining/estimating at greater length how many or how large they appear.
