Dr. Charles L. Cooper

Missed my ADHD for years. Abysmal and incompetent.

I have been seeing Dr Cooper for 19 years following a serious accident that involved brain and spinal injuries Dr Cooper has helped me in more ways than I can count. He not only hears me but gave me a coping technique that has helped me through the years and is still used to this day. I will always be thankful for Dr Cooper’s help for me and my family.

For the time that I saw Dr. Charles Cooper, I never felt that he really listened to me. He seemed to be mainly interested in quoting irrelevant sections or phrases from various psychotherapy books versus making a sincere attempt to understand what I specifically was going through and/or wanted to try to accomplish. In addition, he was continually late for the appointments, using the excuse that he was the administrator of the practice. The last time that I saw him, he was nearly 15 minutes late. Instead of apologizing or offering a rational excuse for his behavior (neither of which occurred during the entire time I saw him), he mocked me and spoke over me when I attempted to let him know how I felt. I believe that he is a misogynist, who does not know how to work with intelligent, independent women. My appointments with him were a complete waste of time. After the last incident re his lateness and rudeness, I cancelled my remaining appointments. I would strongly suggest not wasting time or money with this person.
