There is not enough space here to praise Dr. Coffey enough. He is by far the finest physician I have ever had and there have been many. I feel incredibly blessed to have found him, they broke the mold when they made him.

Dr Coffey is an AMAZING doctor!! He always takes the time to listen to you and never have I ever felt rushed by him He explains things in detail and in a way you can understand what he is saying. Follows up on you and takes the steps to get you the tests or specialists you may need to see. I recommend him highly, he is a very caring man and truly cares about his patients!!

I have known Dr. Charles Coffey for 50+ years. He is the kindest, most caring, empathetic, and loving person, community member, family man, and Christian; and, as a physician, he is diligent, professional, and completely accurate in his diagnoses, as well as verifying those diagnoses with follow-ups and continued monitoring. My husband has 16 doctors that we see throughout the year - many are the top-notch specialists in their fields. We like them all. However, not a one of them can out-pace Dr. Coffey, no matter the category being rated. I wish he had 100 more lifetimes, and millions of “clones” of himself. No kidding! Staff communication poor. I was told at 8:00AM by phone to come in. This call was initiated by me. One there, I was sent out of office and told to wait in car for video visit. I waited 45 minutes in hot car for doctor to engage. Dr. Coffey is wonderful but his office staff doesn’t communicate well.

Dr. Coffey is always patience and takes the time to answer questions to help you understand your overall wellness.

Super friendly front office staff, nurses and doctor. Knowledgeable and caring. Always on time with my appointments, never a wait.

Doctor coffee has always been a good doctor to me it takes time to talk to you and that means a lot all the nurses in the women up front has always been sweet as they could be

Dr. Coffey has always been very kind to me and my family. He takes the time to have a conversation with you and make sure all your questions and concerns are addressed. The issue I have is with the front office, I will not SPECIFY HER NAME, but this person is extremely rude, and is very unprofessional. I have had several issues with her, I have attempted to report this person several times and nothing is ever done about it, we are being treated as we were the problem and we have never had any issues with the Dr. Finally we were retaliated against, by this person somehow convincing Crestwood (Upper Management) to have Dr. Coffey release me and my family as patients. I spoke with several people and they basically ignored all of our concerns. We have done nothing wrong except try to express how we were treated by this person. Dr. Coffey told me that he would let the staff know he wanted to keep me and my family on as his patients and he would have them send me a letter stating this. I found out this wasn't done, it only shows 1 of my family members is still in the system. I would like to have this reviewed and have me and my family re-instated, because we were removed due to the person in the front - just being vindictive and spiteful. Since 2009 I have seen over 75 Doctors. I’ve had 28 surgeries. I said that to say that of all the Dr/nurses/ Nurse Practitioners and staff. Dr Charles D Coffey at Crestwood Family Practice in Madison Al and his entire staff is the more caring compassionate concerned team that I have ever encountered. Every time I visit I’m greeted with a joyful smile from Michelle followed by a laugh/ smile from nurse Angela. And then in walks Dr Coffey. No matter what my problems are there is never one too big or too small. He treats them all the same. He doesn’t walk out of the room until he has , in detailed, explained everything to me in a way that I can understand not a bunch of medical terms that I would need to look up I appreciate the care that I receive each time. If you want to go somewhere and not be treated like you’re just a number and paycheck, please give this office a call and thank me later. And the ladies in the lab are great too! In and out! Dr. Coffey is the best! The rest of the staff with the exception of two are awesome. Michelle the receptionist is the best as well. The nurse is not friendly and I always hope she isn't there the days I have an appointment. But in the big picture, the experience at the office and communicating with them is more of a concern due to Crestwood. You can't communicate directly, you have to talk to a call center which don't knowyou or your situation. And what to know why you need to speak to a particular person in the office. I don't want to be telling someone in a call center me personal medical issues. Most of employee issues are not handled by the doctor and his hands seem to be tied behind his back in office related rules and issues. I have picked this up when I have brought up issues to others in the office and tell them I couldn't believe the doctor puts up with.......and the general answer has overwhelming been; "He really don't have any say in that, it comes from Crestwood and/or a district manager.
