Cline did not understand or adequately explain in advance the risks of surgery for my 80 year old father, who was malnourished when he came to the hospital. Instead of getting my father stronger before surgery, he operated on him, then my father had severe edema due to his malnourishment. Then Cline did nothing to help my father after surgery, and gave up on him. When he came to my father’s room after surgery, I asked him to wait a couple of minutes for my mother to get there so she could talk to him. He said he “didn’t have time to stand around.” Cline acts sympathetic, but it’s just an act. He was arrogant and rude to me and my family. My father is now dead instead of having the months that cline claimed he’d get from the surgery and time to say goodbye to his friends and family, and time to get chemo for his cancer, like cline had claimed he would. Dr. Cline operated on my elderly and severely malnourished father. He seems at first like a caring doctor. However, he did not explain the risks involved in his surgery, or do anything to mitigate the risks such as increase my father's albumin levels (the strongest predictor of post-surgical mortality) prior to surgery. When my father's health began to deteriorate due to edema (a cause of which is low albumin) just a few days after the surgery, he came to his room to say that it was long enough after surgery for him to be off the hook if my dad passed away. He did not show any care or compassion for my dad--just for himself. Dr. Cline acts caring, as long as you agree with him. However, as other have said, when questioned, Dr. Cline became angry and arrogant. I do not recommend this doctor.

Absolutely 5 STARS! He is one of the nicest doctors I have ever been to. ((Too bad he's not my PCP!)) Excellent bedside manner. He did out-patient surgery on me today, July 2, 2021, at Jefferson Hospital, part of the AGH Network.

Cline operated on my 80 year old father, and ten days later my father died. Cline did not convey to my father or family the risk of surgery. Cline showed no concern for my family as my father’s condition deteriorated after surgery. Instead, he was arrogant and rude and was only concerned about getting off the hook for my poor dad’s condition.

Had my gallbladder removed yesterday and went extremely well. He has great bedside manner and was so sweet and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. Took his time to speak to me and explain the procedure. I would recommend him to anyone!

He took the best care of my mom and knew there was something still wrong after her surgery. She wasn't getting better and he found something unrelated and preformed a 2nd surgery. He is very caring and talks to you in terms that the average person understands. I wish more doctors were like him!

Dr Cline is very caring and compassionate. He is extremely proficient in explaining things in a way that enable you to fully understand the situation at hand. My surgery was successful with no bumps along the way. Dr Cline is highly recommended and is an example of what all MDs should aspire to be.

Dr. Cline performed an emergency surgery on me 7 years ago and saved my life and then performed a colonoscopy on me and he is by far the most compassionate, caring, professional Dr. I’ve ever encountered. His bedside manners are like no other. I highly recommend.

If I could give Dr. Cline 10 stars or more I would. He is a wonderful doctor. His bedside manner is the best I have ever received. He honestly cares for his patients. He is a very heartwarming individual. I wouldn't go to any other general surgeon. He is awesome.

He is very personable, friendly, and very thorough. He explains everything to you so you understand. He is the best doctor that I ever had. Great bedside manner! He is highly recommended.

Dr Kline has been my doctor for over 20 years! He does all my colonoscopies, removed my gallbladder, repaired my colon after my hysterectomy where they stitched my colon to my vaginal wall (at another hospital)!!! He is absolutely AMAZING and I have nothing but trust for this medical genius!!!

Dr Cline and staff are excellent. Dr. Cline is up to date on new test and procedures. Dr. Cline is the best I’ve seen and would highly recommend him and his team. He visited after surgery and the next day. His pa assistant also visited me after surgery and the next day. I am grateful for the care of Dr. Cline and company. Wonderful job, Very well done. Dr. Cline takes his time to describe what needs to be done explains to you all the positive and the negative and reassures you just by his manners and his knowledge of his craft, I highly recommend him

I started with Dr Cline when he first started practicing, went to him for many procedures, both big & small. To me he sets the standard for all others.....he is an outstanding surgeon who is blessed with a caring & nurturing demeanor......he has always gone above & beyond. I will continue to recommend him to all!!!

Dr. Cline is the BEST! He performed my open hernia surgery, & all I can say is he is a fantastic surgeon! He answered all of my questions thoroughly before my surgery, & he reassured me on the day of my surgery that everything would be fine. He has an incredible bedside manner! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cline!!!

Dr. Cline removed a tumor on my foot. He has great bed side manor. I have minimal scaring. He is a class act.

Dr. Cline was one of the doctors taking care of my wife recently when she developed a rare medical issue. He is not only knowledgeable, but he really cares when explaining what the problem is. For a person/patient who is very afraid of what is going on - he makes all the difference in the world by explaining in normal words what the issue is and how it can be dealt with. Dr.Cline was awesome.When i went i was terrified but after the needle to numb the area i never felt a thing .He was guick gentle and through .His bedside manner is very good also .I highly recommend him.
