The office billed my insurance for services that they did not. Do they built for tests that they did not perform on me when they bill for an annual physical you actually have to get checked by the doctor the doctor let me rephrase the nurse practitioner, never even checked me or did anything they’re billing my insurance is for tests that we’re not done on me and when I called the office the nurse said I have to take it up with the doctor. Knowledgeable and caring, Dr. Bleecher is a dedicated practitioner. He saved my life due to his thoroughness and professional expertise. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bleechers for over 5 years now. I went for routine physicals unwillingly but because of my age, I went. Every few months I would get tests that I wondered why I needed them and it got to the point where I made excuses not to go, feeling that it was an excuse to bill my insurance. In December 2018, I went in to review the results of the latest blood work and was told after reviewing the results, that I needed to go for an ultrasound. "Not tomorrow but today". So at 530pm, I went for an ultrasound. Long story short, on December 7 I was diagnosed with cancer. If it weren' for Dr. Bleechers constant urging, I might have not been diagnosed in time. I credit Dr. Bleecher for his knowledge and for continuing to be my advocate. With my continued recovery, he has urged me to contact him anytime, day or night, if I had problems. And I have and he has responded. I find the staff extremely helpful and pleasant including an aptly named Nurse, by the name of Sunshine!

Dr. Bleecher has been my doctor for over 20 years. I highly recommend him. He takes his time and really cares about his patients. He is always there when I need him and his staff are also a very compassionate group of people.

You dismissed my fathers pain, you told my father after seeing his CT that he just had “bad acid reflux” and that he would be fine. That was short of 3 weeks ago, my dad is in the hospital now, they found cancer. On the same cat scan you said he was “fine”. Now my father is waiting for surgery, had he taken your advice he wouldn’t have made it. Your bedside manner is horrible, and clearly you’re uneducated. I will never recommend anyone to you. I am in the health field and can say that Dr. Bleecher is an excellent doctor. He is extremely thorough, personable and his staff is great. I highly recommend him!!

Doctor Bleecher and his staff are fantastic!! I have been a 20+ year Paramedic and I work as a WoundCare Surgical technician in many Surgeons medical offices. During these trial times with this Pandemic I was able to actually see a Primary Doctor . I had no wait time and the staff was detail with my medics issues and concerns. I spent the past few years just going to Urgent Care’s and getting miss information and lack of proper testing. Dr. Bleecher bedside manor is fantastic and he treats like a patient and not a number . I was able to get the basic work up I was pass do on and Dr.Bleecher took care of all of it . I been to and worked in several medical establishments , the staff at Dr. Bleechers office are just so nice and make sure your concerns are needed .

Be prepared to spend your entire day there because he ALWAYS over books his appointments. The front desk leaves alot to be desired as well! Always mistakes made. Sick of doing their job!

Dr. Bleecher is very thorough when you see him. However, the wait will be hours and hours each and every time no matter what day or time you come. He is often standing by the nurses desk typing while you wait. I also feel at times that I am not being heard, that he has made up his mind what the issue and solution is without the feedback of the patient. Terrible bedside manners .....kept texting while i sat there invisible....never introduced himself when he walked in....sends me to all unecessary tests.. all about money...never going back!!

I went there for a check up after the NP left the practice to be seen by Dr. Bleecher and they asked if I had been fasting because the Dr.wanted do blood work and I wasn't told to fast. I told them that my cardio DR. just did a work up so the receptionist asked the dr. if that would suffice. He said no and wouldn't see me! They told me I had to reschedule . There was a man who came in right after me with the same issue and told him to reschedule also! Unbelievable. In search for a new practice. Stay far far away!!. The absolute WORST Doctor we have EVER dealt with! He cares NOTHING about his patients, only the money. We've been coming to this office for years under different doctors. They have all our records. He is making it difficult to authorize tests and studies my husband desperately needs. Completely couldn't care less about making it easier for the patient and doing what is best for them. This was after waiting 2 1/2 HOURS to see him. My husband left with nothing - no help. The staff up front stinks. They have no concern for how long you are there, sometimes they are rude. If i didn't like my doctor i would find a new one.

I am a new patient of Dr Bleeher. And was shocked to read the reviews I had to look to see if it was the same doctor they were reviewing. My 1st appointment with Dr Bleecher was very good he is very thorough and Very professional. I hope that he seen the reviews and that he and his staff has changed. If I could give zero, I would. There for my yearly exam. Waited 2 hours in waiting room and 1 hour in patient room. Was given tests I did not need jus t so he could bill me for a copay and bill my insurance. Sent me for tons of tests I did not need. Refused to give me NORMAL results over the phone. I was forced to go wait another 2 hours to get my results. This office used to be good when I went there at first. DON'T GO TO THIS OFFICE.

My father went to see Dr. bleacher in Rocky point on Monday this past week(7-30-18)so that he can get three months prescriptions or at least refills for his medication because we are moving and I told him we needed them by Monday my father is 83 years old and needs Coumadin and many other meds I am very disappointed in this doctor and it’s not the first time either I am very angry my phone number is 631-681-9195 if his prescriptions can be called in before Monday it would be very appreciated.

Steer clear of this practice it is very much a practice for profit not a practice for patient. Unsupervised overworked Doctors assistants. Disorganized clerical staff. Only interested in running tests under their roof they can extract fees for. If you say you would like to have your test done in a setting that does these tests primarily they won't even provide a referral. Wish I could leave two separate ratings. Dr. B is a great doctor; thorough and compassionate.unfortunately when he sold the practice to Medical Assiciates things became intolerable. They fired most of longtime staff to cut costs, replaced them young snotty girls, just out of training ;some barely spoke English ; couldn’t do a simple blood test, and mostly incompetent. The office girls were nasty. We left the practice.

If it was possible to leave zero stars we would. Wait times regularly EXCEED 1.5-2hours, with a scheduled appt!! Spends NO time with patient, does not explain findings/concerns. Routinely a problem to have medications refilled, going days without meds because office doesnt return our or the pharmacy calls. Absolutely no care or respect for the patient. Have been foing to this office since moved to area, but now that Bleecher took over we will be finding a new office asap.

1. I waiting 3 weeks for an appt even though I explained I was out of medication. Refused to send over scripts until I see Dr. Bleecher. 2. The waiting room had one person in it when I arrived; I waited 1:12 hrs to be .seen. office staff milling around chit chatting with each other. 3. I waited 15 minutes before BP temperature etc was taken, then waited for another 15-20 minutes before the Dr. entered the room 4. Dr. Bleecher has a condescending attitude with a good helping of superiority

Dr. Bleecher's old office and staff were so horrible that I stopped going to his office. Now that he has moved, many of his patients followed him. I have started going back to him and he always makes sure to be extensive to find the issue. I've never felt rushed with him.

Terrible attitude by the girls working the desk very snooty and condescending...I worked at ground zero and this young girl gives me a bad attitude because I'm a little forgetful? sorry but my health isn't what it was and I'm a little slow now but it would be nice to be spoken to like a person...never going back !

My family has been going to Dr. Bleechers office for over 25 years. Times have changed, I suppose it's really all about the money now. The past few times I have been there I waited over an hour just to see a doctor. They have recommended me expensive antibiotics that made things worse. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends or family. There are many good doctors out there who actually care about their patients and not money. Please don't waste time here, I promise you'd thank me

Excellent practice. Very thorough and very family oriented. Dr Bleecher and his team this far have been great.

Been with Bleecher for just over a year.He spends no time with you at all, claims he doesn't have the reports he ordered (and there were many..can you say kick-back?)because he doesn't review the file before he walks in the room.Spent more time waiting then the last 20yr at prior Dr. His office is just a referral factory.I trusted him at first and then as time went on, I lost trust that he only cared about my copay. And his staff are the WORST.Most are spoiled brats who have bad bad attitudes.

I would never recommend this doctor or this office to anyone. The waiting time in the office is exceptionally long, then you're left in a patient room for another exorbitant amount of time. Finally, when Dr. B (as they call him) comes in, he tries his hardest to find something drastically wrong with you or send you for an in ordinate amount of tests, to the point of which you wish you'd just expire.

Dr. Bleecher is a good doctor, but the wait time in the office is very frustrating.

Dr. Bleecher is great. Very knowledgable and show genuine concern for patients. Changes in policies and procedures in office not so great.

I honestly wish there was a way to give zero stars. This office is absolutely horrible and the clerical staff are a bunch of young, rude girls who don't give a crap about the patients or their jobs apparently. They over-book appointments, promise short wait times yet today was the 2nd time in two weeks I waited for over two hours to see the doctor and ended up leaving and going to urgent care... Piece of garbage practice and piece of garbage staff
