Dr. Chad Donald Costley

This MD is no longer willing to treat patients at his PC practice. You are only offered care with a NP. When asked for care interventions that have previously been offered to me by other Providers at the Primary Care level, The NP indicated it was outside her scope of practice. This MD was not willing to follow up to provide the care the NP was not comfortable or skilled in. I felt the response I received from this Provider was insulting and lacked both compassion and understanding and left me without the help and support I need. I don’t recommend his practice.

I really like Dr. Costley, and I love Nurse Lemene. This is a good, old fashioned type place for general medical care (or as close to it one can get these days).

Dismissive doctor, do not recommend

Anyone who has contact with the medical field will quickly notice that Dr. Costley is sharp even among doctors. I have had the same experience with his colleagues. One thing they won't do is try to hit you up for unnecessary treatment that could make them money but worsen your health.

I have been seeing the providers at Ponce Primary Care for several years now and have had a fantastic experience. I have seen Dr Walker, Dr. Costley and NP Kara Brown and all experiences were excellent. I also have had positive interactions with the office staff. Though the phone will sometimes go to voicemail, they respond to calls very quickly and always work me into the schedule very quickly. The providers are very thorough, spend a lot of time with you, and wait times are minimal.

Dr. Costly literally yelled at me on the phone when I requested medicine be called in for me. I had thrown my back out from throwing up with the flu. I could barely move. He demanded that I come in and wait an hour in his waiting room to be seen. His reasoning was that my yearly physical was late. I have never been treated with so little compassion in my life. Excellent, efficient care. I highly recommend Dr Costley and team.

My husband and I have been with this practice for 3 years. We receive high quality care, we feel well respected by the team. They are great listeners. Highly recommend.

My experience with Dr. Costley has been outstanding. Usually at doctors' offices you are forced to wait 15 - 30 minutes before being seen by anyone. At Dr. Costley's office, my wait is under 5 minutes. His attention to detail is first rate and he is a great listener. Also, all of his medical staff is excellent as well. Frankly, the one star ratings on this website must be bogus. None of my family or friends that use Dr. Costley have encountered these problems.

I have had very positive experiences as a patient of Ponce Primary Care. Wait times are minimal and I have not had any trouble scheduling or rescheduling appointments. I have found the staff to be highly professional, from nurses to the phlebotomist and I have a high degree of confidence in Dr Costley in particular. I highly recommend this medical practice.

Excellent medical care from the entire staff.

This is a practice that takes time to know their patients. I hate to give a good review because I want to keep the secret but the are so good that it would not be fair.

The biggest concern they have is to get you out on the door quickly...

Potential new patient - customer service is AWFUL. I've now scheduled two appointments both of which were cancelled last minute by their office for no reason. I would not recommend this practice - the quality of care, even without seeing a Dr, is dismissal.

The customer service is awful; the receptionists are rude. The office also had difficulty correctly booking appointments. It was not uncommon for the staff to confirm an appointment with me, and then book the wrong day. Finally, the quality of healthcare that was provided was average at best. The nurses and doctors seem much more focused on just getting you out the door quickly, which is to the detriment of attentive and effective care.

I usually delay visits to the doctor for a cold/flu until I just have to go because experiences at Urgent Care facilities and other doctors have just been so poor! I just had to see a doctor today about an ongoing cough, and decided to go see Dr. Chad for the first time. I got an appointment right away, didn't have to wait at all once I got there, the facilities were brand new and spotless clean, and Dr. Chad wasn't in a "rush" to try and get me out of there as soon as he could. Overall excellent experience. Will going back to Dr Chad!
