As a Registered Nurse, I was looking for a highly professional, medical-based, physician-directed program. I researched programs in the area, spoke with co-professionals, and found that Dr. Lara's Weight Loss Program was consistently recommended. I completed the initial program and continue in a a supportive oversight program per my request. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful with any challenges. I totally recommend this program to anyone who finds themselves in a situation such as mine--where they need a new healthier nutritional philosophy as well as guidance, structure and accountability. I've been a returning patient here for many years and the caring, always friendly staff is what keeps me on track. (When I've taken time away is when I've put some of the weight back on... haha)

This office is a wonderful facility. When you walk in you are greeted always by a smiling face. Checking in is a breeze. Once checked in you have a seat and enjoy the wonderful sculptures done by one of the employees their selves! It is amazing to say the least! The program is simple to follow and there are so many support systems with the girls at the office. Any questions are able to be answered plus additional ideas when struggling. Dr Lara really cares about his weight loss patients. I was having some trouble on the diet and he explained what I needed to do and not do. I was very comfortable listening to him. Just watch me. I am going to excel on this life plan!

The best program I have ever been on. The staff is supportive and caring and the program works far beyond our expectations! 50 pounds for each of us in 2 months! It's easy to follow and we have never felt better!

Dr Lara diet program is an excellent program for all ages. I have lost over 25 pounds. The staff is very friendly and helpful I highly recommended this program

If your looking to be successful in your weight loss you don't have to look further than Dr Lara! Bottom line it works and relatively easy to get you on the road to significant weight loss. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Congratulations to all.

What I like about Dr. Lara's approach isn't just the weight management aspect of it . Pharmaceuticals are largely geared to treat symptoms, but to a much lesser degree, actually cure serious illnesses. It's a system where there's little incentive for anything except to ensure repeat business with temporary bandaid solutions. Dr. Lara's system not only addressed my obesity (I dropped 85 lbs, when he first took me under his wing), it also nipped disease at the bud proactively. I was headed straight for full blown diabetes years ago, but thanks to his program, it never took hold of me. All I had to do was follow the blueprint he provided. Dr. Lara is wonderful. He is someone you don't always come across in Medicine. He spends time with his patients and gets to know more than just their blood test results.
