Saw Dr Valenzuela today for the first time. She is very sweet, makes you feel comfortable and REALLY listens. I came to my appointment with about 3 pages full of my symptoms and things I’ve been dealing with since the birth of my last child. She actually read everything and went over all of it with me. Dr Valenzuela is by far the best gyn provider I’ve ever had. She’s very thorough in her explainations and a very compassionate person.

I drove 2.5 hours for all my appointments. Dr. Valenzuela would always ask me permission to have interns during my check ups. She is very informative and always asked if I had any questions or concerns. She never left the room until she was satisfied that my needs for that appointment were met. She was the on call when it was time for my baby to be born. She took the time to stop in and delivered my baby with the help of all the staff as well. Great experience for this first time mom. Recommend!

Had hysterectomy, appt prior to surgery were good. I told her I did not want any residents doing surgery. She promised thAt only senior resident would assist. Found out later less experienced residents were involved, had issues in surgery with bladder and had cath needed to be placed after. A week or so postop had alot of pain. Urine test was neg. She told me husband that I was drug seeking. However a week after that culture showed I got a hospital acquired infection. No apology for label
