Does not care about family concerns. Will not approve FMLA when needed. Will not return MUCH needed return phone calls. My mother is now in the hospital with a broken hip as of this morning 11/09/21 due to not listening to family concerns to prevent issues. If you confide in her on the QT as a concerned son/daughter she repeats it back to the parent promoting even more issues. Completely unethical standards. I never had the chance to meet Dr. Hunsiker as her office staff are some of the most incompetent and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I called to make an appointment as a new patient and the woman who answered the phone told me she was new and didn't know how to do that. She took my info and told me she would call me right back. Two weeks later, when I had received no response, I called back. This time I was put into a hold queue. I waited on hold for some time and finally took the option to leave a message. That was 5 days ago and again, I have received no call back. I guess I dodged a bullet on this one! Imagine if I needed something important from them! My mom loves her!

Dr Hunsiker is retired military, so it's probably true that she can come off a bit terse, but she's really GOOD. As my doctor, she doesn't owe me any specific tone or attitude... I'm there for her medical expertise, and she is extremely generous with that. I've been overweight all of my life. She answered all of my questions, she listened to me, and she didn't blame every condition I had on my weight, like some practitioners do. That was absolutely invaluable to me. I've moved out of state, and miss her terribly. I wish her ALL the best.

One of the worst doctors I've ever seen. She has absolutely no bedside manner at all. Doesn't care about her patient's at all.

Why anyone would give this brilliant physician one star is beyond me. She’s intelligent, very conscientious and is all business. Besides she’s a very nice person. She’s just the kind of Physician I want. She has always steered me in the right direction. I’d definitely give her 5 stars.
