Catherine Scott

Dr. Scott is the best thing to ever happen to my mental well being. She has helped me more in 3 years that anyone had in 40 plus years. She has never once mentioned insurance to me, she always puts me first. She shares relevant experiences that make you feel comfortable knowing she can relate. She has pushed me when I needed pushing, did I like it in the moment, well no, was I thankful for it in the end Hell Yes. If you really want to heal your mind, body and soul, Dr. Scott is the medical professional you should be spending time with.

I have been in therapy for many years for a variety of reasons (1st marriage, son in the throws of addiction, codependent behavior, the list goes on). I have seen a lot of counselors due to relocation. Catherine is the best of the best. She has a great approach. She is empathetic, but will also give you her professional opinion on what she sees as behavioral patterns that you need to address. If you are looking for a therapist I would highly recommend Catherine.

We've known Dr. Scott for around 3 years and she's a wonderful therapist but you have to be willing to face the truth. She's very sweet and kind but she doesn't sugar coat her comments. She changed my nephew's life and was very helpful to me.

I will sing the praises of Catherine Scott to anyone who asks. With her help, I am a different person today. She has helped me learn to be on my own and take care of life's demands. My family has always played a big part in my life. I had recently lost both of my parents when I first started seeing Catherine. I didn't think I would survive alone. It is not overly dramatic to say I don't think I would still be here if I had not met her. She has been so very supportive, and lets me know/realize how much I have accomplished and moved forward. She is my cheerleader, and meeting her is one of the best things that has happened for me.

Very rude and has Condescending personality. She makes decisions based off one side. Talks down to you and very unprofessional. People go see a psychologist to feel better not to leave feeling worse about yourself. I’ve seen many in my life time and she is by far the rudest, unprofessional, arrogant, manipulative, deceitful and full of hate psychiatrist I’ve met. Would not even recommend her. She focuses more on telling you her background rather than listening to your issue. She tore my family apart and her Condescending personality shows me she don’t care just as long as she gets paid!

Very rude, was more concerned about insurance. Very judgmental. Saw her twice and would never recommend to anyone.

Very unprofessional. Did not listen to concerns, listened more to insurance company. Argumentative. Condescending way of speaking. Office is cluttered and uncomfortable. Would not recommend at all.

Catherine is the best therapist I have ever worked with. She pushed me to grow, she made me work and think. The progress we made together in a short period of time is astonishing. There aren't enough superlatives to use to describe her.

I have been seeing Dr Scott for over a year due to anxiety and depression. Dr Scott is also my conduit to the psychiatrist. She has a friendly congenial personality but is firm in her convictions. She has given me excellent advice through her wisdom of experience. From day one you feel like you’re speaking with a friend who will tell you the truth and always have your back, but NEVER reveal your secrets. I highly recommend Dr Scott for any age and any area of her expertise.

My husband and I saw Dr. Scott, individually and as a couple. She is a loving, caring, practitioner. I highly recommend her.

Having been in therapy most of my life, I have been to many therapists. Maybe too many, also. Ha! Dr. Scott is a blessing to my life right now. She is professional, yet down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She helps me maintain an even keel in the sea of life. She is honest, respectful, and insightful. Her training and experience extensive. I purposely chose her because of this and have not been disappointed.

I have been seeing Dr. Scott off and on for 10 years. When she worked in Georgia, I traveled there. When she worked in Greenville, I traveled there. And now I travel to Bluffton. Dr. Scott is kind, caring, compassionate and I trust her completely. She has helped me through some very dark times in my life and I will forever be grateful to her.

I'm a single father of 2 girls and have relied on Dr. Scott for over 2 years now. I couldn't be more happy with the results I have seen in my girls. I approached Dr. Scott because she was one of the few child therapists willing to testify in court during my divorce. Her unbiased opinion during trial, and her willingness to undergo extreme scrutiny by opposing counsel, has been instrumental in my children's wellbeing. She gives direct advice to parents, and deeply cares about my girls.

I feel blessed to have found Dr. Scott. It is often difficult to find a doctor who is truly engaged in your situation. Dr. Scott is that doctor! She is personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I am very comfortable recommending her to someone in search of a doctor.

Worst counseling experience I have ever had. Dr. Scott called me a "cutter" when I told her that I self harmed when I was a teen. She then continued to hint at my underlying drug addiction that she was convinced I had because I said I smoked pot in high school. She talked over me the entire visit, wouldn't let me talk, and was over-all unprofessional. No medical professional in their right mind should ever call someone names. I was APPALLED. Save your time, find a different doctor.

We saw Dr. Scott for marriage counseling but the whole time we were going to counseling she knew my husband was still talking to the woman he had an affair with. I feel that this was not ethical as I too was her patient. She just seems more focused on my ex-husband.

Not a patient advocate doctor. Cares more about insurance carrier.

She was completely unprofessional and permanently damaged my children and destroyed our family.

Dr. Scott is a warm, nurturing, and highly trained professional who understands my specific needs and has helped me to put my life back together.
