Catherine Chong-Ae Kim

Dr. Kim was my physician during a very challenging time where my health was concerned. Besides being an excellent physician, she was extremely caring, understanding, and honest with me. To this day, I'm very grateful to her.

Dr. Kim is intelligent, progress, proficient, caring, intuitive, and smart. I am blessed to have her as my physician.

Going to the OBGYN is always an awkward experience, & for some, traumatizing. My young niece's experience with Dr. Kim left her feeling unheard, & with no answers to her medical issues or the questions that she had. Dr. Kim asked my niece about her diet & as she was answering, Dr. Kim interrupted & stated, "Stop talking." Dr. Kim asked other intimate questions & as my niece was answering Dr. Kim's questions, Dr. Kim interrupted her again & said, "Stop talking." I understand that many doctors are overworked, but when you can't take the time to let the patient complete their answer, then that doctor should not be seeing patients! I'm sure Dr. Kim is a good physician & perhaps was having a bad day; however, a patient going into the doctor's office for any reason especially, to an OBGYN, is always in a vulnerable position. Perhaps, a doctor that does not want to take the time with patients should focus on research. She also tried to peddle non-FDA approved probiotics; it was very sketchy.

Dr. Kim is an excellent and compassionate doctor. She always goes above and beyond to ensure her patients are well taken care of. I have seen her for over 20 years and would not want to trade her for any other doctor.

Love this lady she truly cares about her patients .

Dr Kim and all the doctors at simi obg are amazing. Their bedside manner is caring and extremely professional. Dr Kim and Dr Lee performed my csection and although I was really scared I knew I was in the best hands possible. You can barely see my scar, which was a huge plus in my book! Dr. Catherine Kim has treated me for several years and back in 2000 she performed surgery on me. I would highly recommend her! I'm grateful for such a competent physician who always goes above-n-beyond to make sure that I'm getting the best overall care possible so that I can live a productive, healthy life. Dr. Kim is so experienced, caring, and wonderful! She actually prayed with me before my surgery...stills makes me a bit teary.

I gave birth to my son Ali Niazi back in February 15 th 2009 under Dr Kim's supervision. She was my obgyn and I had a C-section. Even this morning I was telling my son ( now almost 7 years old) how awesome Dr Kim was. I now live in the Bay Area. But I would love to go back to LA to give birth to another child whenever that may be. Just to have Dr Kim as my Obgyn. She is an angel from god to ppl like me. She is kind,intelligent , understanding,available,personable I can go on n on. Thank u dr Kim
