Dr. Catherine A. Fedako

I have been to Dr. Fedako several times in the past two years. She is an excellent doctor taking time to ask questions and explain information after each yearly physical. I highly recommend her for her knowledge and expertise.

We are so very impressed with Dr. Fedako. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. Yes, she is typing during the appointment - that is to be expected. She is taking notes about your discussion with her. This is important not only for that particular appointment but it assists her on future appts as she is able to go back and review her previous notes. She is able to look at problems from all different perspectives. She considers your current status, and when looking for solutions, she explains her reasoning so that you understand why she is proceeding in a particular way. She has even pulled up useful medical information on the internet (within seconds) to help us understand certain conditions. When it comes to test results, she is really on top of everything. I recently had a test performed and she called me to inform me of the results before I arrived home. On another occasion, my husband called the office as a follow up to a recent appt, and she replied on her day off.

My first visit to see Dr. Fedako was a little bumpy, mainly due to the fact that the front desk reception failed to arrive my visit and I was left waiting until I finally asked why I had not been seen yet However, once I did meet Dr. Fedako, she spent a lot of time with me and made sure that I had referrals for a variety of different specialties. She is a little quirky, but pays attention to what you are saying even while she is typing into her computer. On my second visit, I asked her about a skin condition I have had for years without a clear diagnosis. This after seeing my internist up North, a podiatrist and a dermatologist. After looking at my skin, she pulled up a picture on her computer of what she thought I had. It was clearly what I believe I have been suffering with. I have worked for physicians for over 40 years and I am picky about who I select my medical care from. I would gladly recommend Dr. Fedako.

Excellent diagnostician.

I went to Doctor Catherine Fedako for my first visit as a new patient and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor and I've been to many. She was very rude from the start as she didn't even introduce herself and it went downhill from there. I have several medical conditions and have had to go on disability by doctors’ orders about 8 years ago. The first words out of her mouth were a condescending, so you’re on disability, why is that? If she would have looked it was clear.

My husband and I went in as new patients for our annual wellness visits. As soon as she walked in the room we knew that we were not going to be happy with her. She didn't even introduce herself or really even look at us. Just looked at her computer and said she finds it hard to do two patients at the same time. We had back to back appointments and all she had to do was one of us at a time, we were just both in the same room. Rude, Uncaring. Not knowledgeable on common condition husband has.

First appointment with Dr Fedako. Waited 6 months for the appt. I was treated with disrespect while she perused my med. records forwarded to her from my specialist that treats my ongoing illnesses. Then she told me she would not work with me because I am being treated for fibromyalgia and lyme disease. It took a while to understand that she doesn't believe the illnesses are real even. Damn it must be a painful illusion I have then. She was unpleasant, dismissive & insulting. Shame on you, Doctor

I have been with this doctor since 2008. Initially she was caring and thorough. Within the past year, her patient care has deteriorated: she is condescending and dismissive of patient concerns. The last straw for me occurred when I was four minutes late for a 9:00 AM appointment, having arrived at 9:04. I was told by the receptionist that Dr. Fedako would not see me and I would need to reshedule due to being late. This is unconscionable behavior on her part. I will not see Dr. Fedako again.

I STARTED TO SEE DR. FEDAKO 8 YEARS AGO, I STAYED WITH HER BECAUSE SHE WAS WELL TRAINED AND SEEMED PLEASANT ENOUGH BUT OVER TIME SHE HAS BECOME TOO BUSY, UNINTERESTED, & UNRESPONSIVE. I HAD TO SEEK A NEW PROVIDER.
