She is awesome and she took care of my issue.

Dr. Bonk is an excellent doctor, IF you can get past the front desk. I am on Medicare and everywhere it says that she accepts Medicare Assignment. That’s NOT the same as Medicare, however, clearly these girls have no idea what it is and therefore I cannot even get through. Too bad more front office people don’t know what they are doing. I really need to speak to this doctor. Actually, what I need can be handled over the phone.

I was charged $95 for an office visit for asking for a prescription. The same thing they do over the phone for free. I had an appointment on a Thursday and they wanted to get me in for the ultrasound that day for, but their schedule was backed up so they had me come in the following day. I came in Friday for the ultrasound ONLY - no appointment scheduled. I let the receptionist know that I had spoken with the doctor about how nauseous I was at my appointment the day before and based on that discussion I wanted a prescription. They charged me for an office visit for BOTH DAYS, $295 for the first and $95for the second. When I discussed this with the front office staff, they said they would review the situation and that it was at the provider, Lisette Perkey’s discretion. I fail to understand how they can justify charging an office visit for something that would normally be handled over the phone and was discussed the day prior. I am switching practices because of this. If they care so little and are nickel and diming patients I would hate to see what my bill for the delivery looks like. Dr. Bonk has been my doctors two times in my life. When I first lived in the area, she was recommended by a friend. She was absolutely smart, engaging, and caring. She listened to all I went through ( 4 miscarriages with her), and saw me through both of my pregnancies beautifully. I moved away for 10 years but when I returned to the area, I came back to her. She is worth the hour drive I make because she continues to be on top of what is happening in the medical field today, she is still very caring and personable. I will always go to Dr. Bonk! Dr. Bonk is straightforward and a wonderful doctor. After seeing a different doctor for years and going through horrible issues, Dr. Bonk gave me a simple out patient solution through uterine oblation. No other doctor even mentioned this to me for years. I wasn't able to work and this effected by quality of life considerably. I highly recommend her!

I am astonished at the lack of concern by this provider. Not one question was asked about my well being. I was not asked if I had any concerns. Lisette was cold, uncaring and almost rude. I don't even think she said, "how are you today". Unbelievable. Luckily, I am done having children. I could not endure the lack of bedside manners of this place from front desk to check out. The only person who seemed "happy" to care for me was the woman,who took my blood. The urine sample door had two cups in it and no room for my cup. This place really sucks. A lot.
