The Stony Point crew had me in and out with little to no waiting for my colonoscopy. The nurses (Rhonda and Delores) and the anesthesiologist (Wendy), had tremendous bed-side manner and helped provided a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Extremely professional, well organized, timely and efficient. Dr. Jeff, Rhonda, and Emily were awesome. Dr. Gentry and his staff make a great team!

Dr. Gentry has the BEST team! Prior to his arrival, Rolonda (IV extraordinaire) and Linda (comforter) made me feel at ease with the prep needed to begin the procedure. It was as if I had known them for years. Afterwards, Emily and Meredith joined them.....one big family gathering.....SO MUCH FUN! Icing on the cake - Dr. Gentry shows up playing HUMPTY DANCE as a tribute to Shock G. The ENTIRE staff started dancing....Dr. Gentry included. I was then wheeled off to the procedure room. 15-20 minutes later, I was given my results & post procedure instructions. They made my day! Looking forward to my next visit. Preventive Care has never been so much fun!

Dr. Gentry and his office were perfect. The office called me multiple times before the procedure to make sure I was properly prepared. They called in the meds for me. The nurse and anesthesiologist were professional and informative. The area was clean and modern. The COVID precautions were appropriate. Dr. Gentry put me at ease before and after the procedure. He was very pleasant and upbeat, right down to the music he selected for the procedure.

Excellent, compassionate doctor. Highly recommend him. He removed part of my colon at Retreat Hospital. I received excellent, compassionate care there as well.

Thumbs up for Dr. Cary Gentry. I have had 2 procedures this past year and he was an excellent doctor for me. The first, something I had put off for years, and thanks to his encouragement, I went through with it and the out come has been wonderful. Dr Gentry is an excellent doctor and he cares about his patients. The staff are very nice too.

Both, my husband and I have seen Dr. Gentry. We grade our visits with an A+. Dr. Gentry is professional, efficient and personable. The staff at his office is friendly and very organized. We will schedule with Dr. Gentry again when we are ready for our next appointment.

Fantastic interaction with me as a patient; clearly explained procedure and recommendations. He and his support team made me very comfortable throughout the entire process. A well-organized and efficient practice, I highly recommend Dr. Gentry and C&RS.

Dr. Gentry took me on as an emergency case (bowel obstruction); possible colon cancer. He scheduled me for surgery outside of his surgery schedule and removed everything he believed he needed to remove. After a drawn out recovery, I am beginning to feel amazingly better. I am sure with time and physical therapy, I will be in much better health than before...all due to Dr. Gentry...a miracle worker in my eyes! This past year, I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Gentry as my surgeon on a colon surgery. His skills, knowledge, manner and caring well exceeded anything I could have reasonably expected. We'd all like to avoid such surgery if we can but if we cannot, there is simply no one better than Cary Gentry.

I was recently treated by Dr.Gentry and his staff at the Stoney Point Office, very nice and professional. Once Dr. Gentry completed his examination, he took the time to sit down and further explain in detail my medical situation and the steps to repair it. During and after my surgery the medical team kept me very comfortable and relaxed. The office personnel contacted me the very next day to see how I was feeling. I recently had a portion of my colon laparoscopically removed. The staff in the ICU were wonderful! They were knowledgable, gave me details, explained all procedures and worked as a team and a family. Everyone was so friendly and personable. Beyond the regular ICU staff was an army of specialists........cardiologist, anesthesiologist, pharmacologist, Dr. Gentry and even the head of nurses who were very involved in my recovery and wellness. Everything exceeded my expectations! Thanks to all.

I recently had to have a colonoscopy. I have an intense phobia of all things medical, but I had as good an experience that is probably possible for me. Dr. Gentry is a wonderful doctor, caring and competent; I have complete trust in him. His team was extraordinary and did everything they could to ensure my privacy and make me feel at ease. I have to thank Dianne in his office, and especially Sara Noble and Betsy Anton - the best! And Elizabeth and Megan were also wonderful.

I appreciate Dr Gentry's request to meet me prior to my routine colonoscopy so we could talk through any risks or concerns. The procedure was handled with ease and the staff were supportive and helpful. They talked through everything that was going to happen in a simple and thorough way.

I am very pleased to find Dr Cary, who was highly recommended to me by several people. One of who is a nurse and good friend. My experience having him as my doctor has been excellent.

Dr. Gentry is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him.

I am 62 years old and have been putting off a colonoscopy for a long long time because of the stories of the prep from my mother and grandmother. I met with Dr. Gentry And he made me feel very comfortable. He prescribed a prepopik prep, and assured me it was simple I was still skeptic. I just completed the procedure on August 24, 2016, and I cannot tell you how well this prep kit worked. Everything he said was true, simple, the taste was like drinking lemonaid.. Dr Gentry was beyond great.

Very thorough follow up visit and exam to surgery performed by Dr. O'Donovan originally. Exam done in a timely fashion, and all questions were answered.

Dr. Gentry is hands down the best there is. He is supremely skilled, but on top of that, is one of the most genuine, caring and compassionate people I have ever met. Most surgeons are not noted for their people skills. Dr. Gentry is quite different. If he could expand his practice to cover everything, I would go to him for everything. Just seeing him, or talking with him brightens my day.

Dr. Gentry and his entire staff are knowledgeable, perform with ease and confidence and treat everyone with great respect. I've had four or five procedures there and recommend his office and him to everyone I know.

Dr. Gentry and his staff have been extremely helpful and caring while I have been a patient with him. He did a total colectomy with ileostomy for me at the end of December and I do not think that it could have gone any more perfectly. His care for his patients goes above and beyond and it shows with his work.

Very knowledgable about my condition by performing his own evaluation to add to records he received from others. Excellent surgeon. Incision healed rapidly with minimal discomfort Seems to care about whole person and their family
