Dr. Carroll Donell Cooper

Amazing Dr. Great staff. He got right to the point and helped me recover from an injury that I had been dealing with for over 6 months, in a matter of weeks. Highly recommended.

**BEWARE** READ ALL THE REVIEWS** Dr Cooper’s office is only focused on giving those injections(AS THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS STATED) and not offering any alternatives. On our first visit,the NP prescribed us some medication(12 tablets of tizanidine 2mg and Ibuprofen 800 mg), well we don’t have insurance so I thought since we were seeing THE DOCTOR the following week, I could give him that prescription back and he would write us a prescription for more tablets (cost efficient ), during my visit with him, I explained that to him... his response was “ok”. After I told him I wanted to try to manage my pain with a pill as opposed to an injection in my back, he left out of the room and didn’t come back, sent his assistant in with a prescription for ONLY IBUPROFEN! I demanded to speak with him, they said, “he’s not coming out...he’s on to something else”. So “I” made it CLEAR THAT I NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH HIM! When I asked him about the TIZANIDINE, he said, “why didn’t you take them”? “Now I don’t feel like that’s what you needed”. (You mean to tell me, I’m a candidate for an epidural injection but I don’t deserve a muscle relaxer) So basically now that means either his NP is incompetent or he wants to force us into getting injections because we are STILL GOING TO BE IN PAIN! WE HAVE BEEN TAKING ADVIL PM TO MANAGE THE PAIN AND GET SOME SLEEP! WE ARE TRULY IN PAIN! My blood pressure reading was THROUGH THE ROOF! They didn’t even acknowledge it! Dr Carroll Cooper is an awesome doctor!!! I love his bedside manners. He explained all the procedures that took place and what to expect afterwards. His Nurse Practitioner, Alese was very professional and an asset to his practice. She was very through ,patient and compassionate. The staff is professional and had excellent customer service. Just an expert in the science of caring for the spine and truly a great human being. Eased any anxiety about my procedure.

Dr. Cooper is good. He has a bedside manner about the way he approaches patients. An injection that he suggested I didn't need, but he's still a respectable physician. His staff is nice as well. He works out of two locations though, and sometimes they don't always pick up the phone. So pay attention , and ask which location you're scheduled to see him at. Dr. Cooper is good. Dr C was easy to talk with explained procedure to me where I understood them.

I felt the service was very personable by Dr. Cooper and staff. Being my age, I nust want to be sure everything ia all right with the best course of action for a speedy and wholesome recovery. Thank you Spine Center of Atlanta. God bless you

Dr. Cooper did a wonderful job caring for myself and my fiance. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for spine care.
