Dr. Carolyn M Walsh

Everyone in my family now goes to Dr.Walsh as no other doctor we have ever gone to has provided such extensive, thoughtful, and kind care. Never thought I would ENJOY going to a doctor, but going to her is like going to see a friend. Cannot recommend her enough.

A very knowledgeable, thorough and dedicated physician. I also appreciate the time and effort she takes to keep her patients at optimal health without breaking our bank accounts :)

Dr. Walsh is the most patient, compassionate, understanding, and kind doctor I have ever encountered. She is also extremely knowledgeable in many medical areas, and I highly recommend her services. You will not be disappointed.

She refused to see my sister even though we guaranteed private pay. My sister is suffering from mold toxicity and Dr Walsh did not run a Real times lab assessment. So sad. I understand that Dr Walsh doesn’t care to engage in Medicare or Insurance. However we were willing to pay for her services. So sad. My sister also has chronic Lyme with many coinfections which makes her more suspectible to mold toxicity. Question Dr Walsh knowledge about Lyme, coinfections and mold Toxicity. Dr. Walsh is a hero, and by far our family's favorite physician. She helped us identify the root cause of my daughter's complex chronic illness as well as my own after multiple specialists, countless tests and years of misdiagnosis. I truly believe that she saved my daughter's life. She is open-minded and works tirelessly to research and design the right treatment protocol based on individual patient needs and believes that patients should have input into their treatment. She wouldn’t see my sister although my sister was willing to private pay.

I was her patient for about a year, several years ago. After several non-starters with other Lyme doctors, she helped me greatly at a time when I was hurting and sick the most. She's the one who helped me piece together the demyelination disorder with the resulting muscular tremors -which no other doctor had been able to figure out; or remarked on since. The only reason I stopped seeing her is that we reached a plateau in treatment and I needed to see a doctor to take me in a different treatment direction. Dr Walsh was only doctor after a year of Lyme treatment to get my symptoms under control and goes out of her way to answer questions in a laypersons terms that we can understand. I drive 3 hours to see her. She treats patients as a whole.

Outstanding physician. Takes the time to listen to everything you have to say. In addition to being a great overall internist, I would also call her a Lyme Disease Specialist.

Dr. Walsh is fantastic! She schedules plenty of time to see each patient and thoroughly discuss your medical history and all of your concerns. Because she makes sure she will have the time, she can be very analytical, and really thinks about everything you tell her. She is obviously extremely intelligent, and really cares about the care she is giving her patients. On my first visit with her, she solved a problem I had been having for quite a long time, and I had previously been seeing a specialist that had no answers for me. Dr. Carolyn Walsh, is a very caring doctor, who is a trained specialist by the best in the world. If she cannot figure out your illness. By all means keep searching for your answer to your health problem. It took almost 2 years & 20 doctors later for me to be diagnosed. In Massachusetts of all states not Virginia. Then the doctor in Massachusetts sent me to her preferred specialists to maintain my health.
