Dr Carolyn Belfry is the best! She really cares and will listen and answer any question. ????

I saw Carolyn Belfry. Definitely not the visit I expected. She asked questions very quickly making it difficult to think and hard to respond. She made no eye contact and was short in responses. This made me feel unimportant. Not sure I’ll return to see her.

Waited a half hour to be seen and told I only have fifteen minutes so pick what I wanted to talk about. the doctor clearly showed little care and quickly ran through a questionnaire and then left. I was then ran through a series of tests with no explanation on what I was even being tested for. On top of that she prescribed me the wrong medication so I had to fill a prescription from my OB instead.

Dr Belfry wasn’t very personable and I felt rushed out. She seems like a good doctor just wish she would have taken the time to listen to me.

Dr. Belfry is a talented physician with a reassuring bed side manner.

Dr. Belfry is a great doctor. Very detailed and attentive.

Dr, belfry, and her staff have always been efficient and kind to me.

This was my first visit and she made me feel very comfortable and listened to my concerns and provided great feedback and direction for a solution.

If you need a primary physician Dr. Belfry is one of the best. I been going to her since I moved here from California. Her and her staff make you feel like family????.

Dr. Carolyn Belfry is an amazing physician! She’s knowledgeable, caring and to the point. She asks the right questions and pauses patiently to listen and then structures the right care and follow ups, and above all she looks healthy herself. One can’t offer what he/she doesn’t have. My wife and I are very pleased with having her as our primary physician.

Dr Belfry has been my Primary Care Physician for many years. It is hard to come up with words to explain how much I trust her and appreciate the awesome care received throughout the years. She is knowledgeable, focused, honest and lives and promotes a healthy lifestyle. I have referred several friends to her over the years and she also took great care of my mother. Plus Theresa is a great asset to Dr Belfry's practice and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. Karen Mohlin

Dr. Belfry was professional, polite and proficient. Absolutely will come back the her.

Dr. Belfry is amazing and such a pleasure to go to. I moved to Davis county 3 years ago and still travel to the Pleasant Veiw office to keep her my primary doctor! If there were more then five stars to give then I would!

She has been our family doctor for 20 years now, and she has always been good to us . She really knows her stuff, and has the ability to help, no matter how tough the truth may be, (cancer) . I waited a half hour to see her and she came in told me I had 15 minutes then started rambling off questions like I had never been to Ogden clinic before and they knew nothing about me. She then ran through the process and then when I told her I needed to start my anxiety medication again after having my child she prescribed me a five year old prescription for depression. and not the anxiety medication I was on prior to becoming pregnant. She then had the clinic run me through a variety of breathing, drinking, urine, and blood tests with no explanation. Still not sure what was even done.

I was in search of a primary care physician as I have never established one before. I made an appointment with Dr. Belfry based on the Google reviews I saw. I saw her today and I was very saddened by my experience. She was not personable. She asked questions very quickly making it difficult to think and hard to respond. She made no eye contact and was short in responses. This in turn made me feel nervous and unimportant. Because of the way I felt, I forgot to mention a couple things about my medical/family history. When I asked if I could ask a couple more questions because I haven’t seen a doctor in a bit, she sighed and said, “well, quickly because we’ve already taken up time.” I was not a patient to her, I was a number. I was prepared with the questions I needed to ask, prepared with a list of my medications and doses, etc because I know a doctor’s time is valuable. In the end I was given the information I needed, but the experience was very unpleasant. I had high hopes of finding a knowledgeable and caring doctor. She seems knowledgeable, but I did not feel as though she cared about me as a person.

I would put 0 stars if I could. PATIENT BEWARE If you are going to see Dr. Belfry be aware of these things: 1. If Dr. Belfry orders any labs for you make sure you get a physical print out of the labs and seek a second interpretation/review of the labs because often times Dr. Belfry will tell you your labs are "normal" when they aren't. (This has happened to me multiple times over the last year. I even called Ogden Clinic and complained and they didn't care.) 2. If you go in with multiple symptoms make sure you record the conversation where you are explaining to the doctor what your symptoms are. Dr. Belfry won't write every symptom and this can affect how it is medically coded, which can impact insurance paying for it. (My latest labs were rejected by insurance because Belfry put down random symptoms --she missed half of the list I gave her!!-- and now my insurance won't pay for the labs and Ogden Clinic refuses to recode/fix their mistake) 3. If you need labs - make sure you ask the doctor (or her nurses) what diagnostic code she is using and what symptom codes she is using BEFORE they take the labs and then call your insurance to make sure they will accept those codes because if she gets this wrong you might be stuck with the bill later. 4. If Ogden Clinic makes a mistake with the medical code BEWARE they won't fix it and some of their representatives literally lie to you over the phone. (This happened to me and it's not fun. The gal who lied to me over the phone who claimed she was going to re-code and then never did is named Alicia in the billing department. I hope their phone calls are recorded. I even tried talking to an office manager for Ogden Clinic and after playing phone tag for over a month I gave up.) Bottom line you will have to monitor your labs because Belfry won't do that. You will have to monitor all the medical codes Ogden Clinic does because they won't fix their mistake once the bill goes out to your insurance. OR save yourself a headache and find a doctor and a medical facility that actually cares, because at Ogden Clinic you are just a faceless number. I would put 0 stars if I could. I have been looking for another doctor to see, I thought she was very thorough. Will be seeing her again.

I thought a particular thing was wrong with me. She was good about testing me for that particular thing and some other things, but when my results all came back normal. That was it. No further help no suggestions not even an attempt to find out what is wrong with me. Total waste of time and money if you don't know what's wrong, they sure won't help you find out. Alot to cover in a 15 minute first time visit after a 2 yr pandemic. She was very thorough but sure felt rushed communicating all the medical history of a 60 yr old and a 2x cancer survivor. My heart and gratitude goes out to all of those in the medical field including the front desk, Med Techs, Assistants and Admin schedulers.

Doctor Belfry is a good Doctor she tells you like it is no bs! And she not only talks medical stuff she talks about life things too she’s a great Doctor and person!

Have been going to Ogden Clinic and seeing Dr. Belfry for 25+ years. She is great and the clinic is very nice and they are really efficient.

Luckily she didn’t just prescribe something for the symptoms but dug until she found something. After a blood test that showed elevated red and white blood cell count and dehydration she sent us to the ER and ultimately found out that the swollen face was not an allergic reaction but fluid from kidneys not working.

Great Experience with all staff and professionals. All are friendly and efficient. Dr. Belfry is knowledgably and thorough with a nice bedside manner. My blood test results were posted the same afternoon as my visit and I was contacted by the Doctor's office the next day. Can't get better than that! Thank you!

She really listens and tries to find the solutions that work best for her patients. Her office always calls to discuss lab reports and set up follow-up appointments with other providers. This was my first visit with Doc. Belfry . I went to her home page and read the reviews scheduled an appointment based on that.And I hate to say but it was awful! She was inconsiderate and short. I had some health concerns I was wanting to address but after only a few minutes she left and never came back. Quick in and out- received professional attention from all staff, from check in to Dr Belfry’s visit and to the lab. Her knowledge of my medical history is great. She makes it comfortable to ask questions and has good recommendations for improving my health.

Friendly and listen to all concerns that I had and dealt with all of them.

I’ve been seeing Dr Belfry for the past year+ and I always feel very comfortable and heard by her. She’s attentive and considerate and I never feel rushed when seeing her. I trust her completely.

Awful experience, would not recommend. Went in feeling sick and with an ear ache, didn’t do anything about it just told me to get some rest and by the time I go home it hurt so bad my teeth hurt!

I felt very comfortable. I felt like she was very detailed in getting my medical background history. I will definitely come back.

Dr. Belfrey is a wonderful doctor to work with and I appreciate her help and support. She doesn't sugar coat the diagnosis, she give her opinion straight. She honestly listens to what you're telling her and I never feel like I'm rushed during my appointments. She genuinely cares. You rock Dr. Belfrey!!!!

The waiting time is short the test they take are pretty sufficient and I believe if they're doing a very good job they're adequate for probably most anybody who's looking for a Doctor Who's thorough and her PA is also very helpful after two or three days after seeing you I got back my results of my blood and urine test I guess I couldn't ask for too much more but it's great that unconfident that the results helps me and my future dietary intake and any problems that my results tells me exactly what I need to do thanks to Ogden Clinic and dr. Dr Belfry is very knowledgeable and kind. I went to see her with a pounding light sensitive, room spinning, nauseating slurred migraine! Once she came in the room, she was quick to turn the light off for me. I explained that I get migraines often and she was quick to go through her list of formal questions whichenabling her to give me the shots in my chart. I read lots of reviews before I decided on which doctor I wanted to see which is why I chose Dr. Belfry. But my experience was so different from what others raved about. I hardly had any conversation with her. She just literally did my physical and then left the room. I didn't even know we were completely done when she left and never came back. It was the weirdest doctor's appointment I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend her off of this appointment, but I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt...maybe she had a long hard day? Was forced to wait outside with a 2 year old for an hour and a half before we could be seen. Doctor had no bedside manner and recommended tests that did not answer the symptoms.

The Dr. was professional however her ability to think outside of the box seemed to be non existent. She told me that due to the pandemic she has been unable to do any research into the latest therapeutics regarding COVID and therefore she was just doing what the medical journals (sponsored by Pfizer) told her to do. At the end of the appointment she also made a very snarky comment regarding people who don’t wear masks or get vaccinated (she called them “dumbasses”). I want to see a Dr. that is making good decisions based on medical data not one that is dictated by the bureaucracy.
