I had an issue about locating where my Rx was sent. I caught Amy (front desk) as she was pulling out of the parking lot just after 5pm. She went out of her way to help me out. Her customer service was amazing! It’s hard to find such eagerness to assist others without gaining personal recognition. When it happens, it leaves an unforgettable joyful experience. My three children have been patients of Dr. Joe for many years. They love her!!! She's one of the best doctors in the area. She takes the time to get to know her patients, she is personable and actually cares about her patients.

Will never return.

Really unorganized. Don't recommend this Dr. They want to charge you for your child's records to be sent electronically to your new dr. crazy all I hear from them is I Am Sorry wait time is ridiculous to see the Dr As well

I love Dr. Joe and so do my kiddos. She is very personable and easy to talk to. She makes sure to get to the bottom of any issues your child may be having.

We enjoy seeing Dr. Joe. She is available for calls and is as patient, warm, and kind as any doctor can ever get. However, I have never met such a nasty Nurse in my life. This woman was coughing around children (sounded like she a serious case of bronchitis) and wasn't wearing gloves, a mask, nothing. She has been nasty more than once, but today she was assigned to our visit, sent us to the wrong room filled with people, and she also kicked me out of our patient room because I got a call from work while she was talking to my husband about my baby. Dr. Joe asked this woman to apologize to us, and she did, but her apology was as nasty as the original incidents. She said things like "I'm sorry if you feel that way" and kept raising her voice at us. I asked if she could wear a mask if she didn't feel well, and she said no. So there you go. I will request that she is not assigned to our visits. It's not fair that we stop seeing such an excellent Pediatrician because of one of her support staff members. We enjoy seeing Dr. Joe. We LOVE doctor Joe. But when it comes to the office staff, not so much. Very very slow when it comes to getting you back and seen. The office manager is very rude and uncompassionate when it comes to making you feel like a priority. Just to many patients for one doctor and two nurses.

My daughter had a baby and choose Dr Caroline from google and family’s from her church that recommend her. What a great first visit. She was patient, spent ALOT of time answering many questions. Dr Joe and her staff are the most caring and genuine providers my son has had. I always feel better knowing Dr Joe cares so much for her patients and amazingly works around the clock for her patients. 24/7. My son was in hospital as a baby and she visited him even throughout the night. I felt truly honored and grateful at her hard work.

My son has been a patient for 4 years, we left and returned back this summer. We love Dr Joe. I am impressed how the office has changed. The new staff is much better than the old staff. The office has changed for the better and I always send people to the office. Her office manager has gotten things in order. Congratulations Martinsburg Pediatrics. And thank you so very much!

Dr Joe is amazing we have been patients for numerous years now. There has been many changes in the office took some getting use to. We must say change is good and these changes have been amazing. We love the new staff. Thank you Dr Joe Tierra and staff for all your hard work and dedication.

My complaint isn’t with her but her office manager. All three of my kids have been going to her office since2014/2015 butvthis morning I had to find a new pediatrician because her office managers behavior was unacceptable. After I left the doctors office I received a call from them and they tried explaining that they thought my son was a new patient. That is horrible to think that they treat new patients like that.

I can not praise Dr Caroline Joe enough she is wonderful with both of my boys, her staff are very friendly and professional.

Dr. Joe is very kind with patients and parents. She is also very accurate and actually pays attention. The staff are nice also.

Dr. Joe has been our family’s pediatrician since the birth of our first child. She is competent, caring, and willing to listen to the parent’s opinion and perspective.

Love Dr. Joe. Very knowledgeable, friendly and she has always been right on her diagnosis with tough medical issues that we’ve had to be treated for by specialty hospitals. I think her desire to treat everyone has hindered her office capabilities but overall, they’re great

Dr. Joe is a wonderful pediatrician. She talks to the children and makes it a fun visit. Wait times can be long sometimes.

She's been my children's pediatrician for 13 years now. She is knowledgeable and unfailingly patient. Her staff are great with the kids. It's always been a positive experience.

My complaint is not with Dr. Joe. My child had visited the emergency room and I called to schedule a follow up appointment with Dr. Joe. I was told that my child would have her prescription called into the local pharmacy. After 2 hours, I called the pharmacy to find if the prescription was ready. The pharmacy had never received it. I then called the doctors office back, and I was given an attitude by a secretary, who placed me on hold for over 7 mins, and acted like she didn't do anything wrong.

My son was one of Dr. Joe's first patients in Martinsburg and she has been wonderful since day one! The office area is cramped and the I have had some issues with billing, but other than that the office is exceptional. I will take a cramped office any day over exceptional care for my son. She has even called me herself the day after a visit to see how my son was doing. I can't ask for a better doctor! We've seen Dr. Joe for 3 years now and have always found her to be great at listening to us and the issues we are having. Just recently she pre-diagnosed my daughter with Postural Otrhostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and we didn't even know she had it. This is a syndrome that is commonly misdiagnosed for MANY years. She referred us to Dr. Abdallah at Children's Heart Institute and they confirmed she has POTS and in addition EDS Joint Hypermobility. Thanks Dr. Joe for seeing the signs!

Dr. Joe took care of me since I was a little boy, she always showed me kindness, respect and took great care to be thorough in each visit. When I have kids she will be their Doctor.

I reserved judgement regarding the run down, cramped office, and unprofessional, unknowledgeable office staff, hoping the Doctor herself would make it worthwhile. The nurse asked me three times who my son was. She then took three patients back to the exams room at the same time, leaving us to wander aimlessly while she changed the paper on the exam tables. When entering the rear of the building toward the back exam rooms and being overcome with the smell of cigarette smoke, I could no longer hope for Dr. Joe to rectify the situation. I took my son and left. While she may or may not be a wonderful doctor, her office and staff leave much to be desired. Very disappointed. Especially after hearing such good things. I do not like the set up of the new office as it's very cramped and if there are no spaces in the "well child area" and I am stuck in the "germie area".
