About Dr. Caroline Han
Reviews for Dr. Caroline Han
The office is dirty and old. Dr.Han misdiagnosed me while she rushed me through the appointment and I ended up in the hospital. When I called the office, the office manager was so rude and demanded I pay the incorrect invoice they sent me.

Dr. Caroline Han is an excellent practitioner who takes time with her patients and really listens well. She is very thorough with her exam and explaining the lab results.

Most difficult facility to make an appointment with. They ask all sort of questions until they hear “No.” Then they apologize to reject the appointment. This was the second attempt and will not ever call again.
If I could rate this place a zero, I would. Dr.Han rushes when she is with you and makes no effort to hear out your issues. The facility is old and dirty. The office manager is so rude as well.
Dr. Han is a terrible doctor with little to no empathy for her patients. She doesn't really listen to their needs or concerns and just tries to rush to get through the appointment. My wife went to see her for 8-9 months before being dropped as a patient. My wife had some specific traumas that prevents her from going to certain medical professionals and Dr. Han kept minimizing her issues and treating a grown woman like a child. I'm sorry but you don't tell someone with PTSD and trauma that "They have a little issue" and "Just need to REALLY try". Thats beyond insulting. She couldn't even give us the decency to talk to us directly when dropping us she had the receptionist do it. She added another layer of trauma now and has basically made my wife feel like no professional will take her seriously/listen to her because of how much effort was put in trying to get Dr. Han to understand. The only person there who actually listened was a nurse who the rest of the staff makes fun of. Dr. Han is a terrible doctor with little to no empathy for her patients. Apparently nobody here has basic listening skills. At first, my issue was with Dr. Han, but after speaking to her manager, I see that this is just how the business is run. It's absolutely disgusting how much BOTH Dr. Han and her manager minimized my problems and talked down to me as if I'm unaware of my own experiences. This is a profession where you should expect the people in it to maybe care about the people they are treating, but I guess that's just not how this place works. The only person who took me seriously was a nurse who said everyone made fun of her for being too nice. Absolutely disgusting. Dr. Han and her manager should both be ashamed of themselves. Bottom line: when someone tries for months to explain that they've had multiple traumatic experiences with something, don't keep saying that they have "a bit of an issue" with it while continuing to push what the patient says won't work for them. Take trauma seriously or get out of the medical profession. As horrible as you have been to me, I hope you never have to be treated by a doctor as dismissive as you've been to me, because I'm not a soulless monster. Weirdly, I try to care about other people. That's obviously not something either of you are familiar with though. Apparently nobody here has basic listening skills. Dr. Han is nice, but you feel she is rushing to get done with you to get to the next patient.

All around great. Dr. Han is not my normal doctor but she was terrific none the less. A++

Professional and knowledgeable
I was pleased with my visit with Dr Han. She was very prompt and it was helpful as I am in a retirement community which prevents me from attending a visit to doctors office. I would do that again.

Very thorough and compassionate.
I had a telehealth visit with Dr Han for the 1st time and it was good look. Looking for future visits.
Smartest Dr. I've ever met!
Dr. Han is great. She is caring, knowledge, and able to break down the diagnosis/concern in a way that is easy to comprehend.
I had a telehealth visit with Dr Han and it was good. I like the way she communicates all the info I need
A great person and doctor. She really care for patients. I really look forward to my visits with her.
Dr. Han has a great bedside manner. She listens to and reacts to patients’ concerns. I recently moved back to Virginia Beach and chose her to be my doctor. She has helped me get set up with all of the doctors I need in a short amount of time. The doctors to whom she referred me are wonderful, too! She clearly cares about her patients and wants the best for them.
I waited 6 weeks for a new patient appointment. Upon arriving, I was told their policy changed and Dr Han was no longer seeing new patients at 3:00 in the afternoon - therefore they changed my appointment to 8 am 4 weeks later! No one bothered to call, text or write although they had all my contact info when I made the appointment 6 weeks prior. Since I was there and took off of work for the scheduled appointment, the receptionist did go ask the doctor if she would see me and the doctor said n
I have never had a doctor who is so thorough and truly caring about her patients. She is a wonderful doctor ~ very easy to talk with about any problem or health issue, very professional. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
