Worst Dr. you could ever take you’r child to. She traumatized my daughter, and was hurting her while doing an exam that had nothing to do with her visit. My daughter told her to stop, because it hurt. Carol Johnson then made false accusations about my daughter, and told me to take her to get examined immediately at a place that day. When I left I get a call saying no take her to Riley. I took my daughter there, and the Dr. from Riley, and medical staff said this Dr. made a horrible judgment call, and told me I should file a complaint on her. The medical staff was blown away when they saw she had called cps also. At that point I was completely humiliated. Cps came to my home, and said themselves there was no need for her to have called, and said the Dr’s story did not even add up. She said this case is closed, and also told me to file with Dr. liscensing board which I have. This Dr. was not my daughter’s regular Dr. Her Dr. was out that day. My daughters are nurses, and was appalled.

I took my newborn son to Dr. Carol Johnson at Greenwood Pediatrics for what I thought to be an ear infection by the way he was behaving. Dr. Johnson looked twice in his ears and told me she could find no reason for his extreme discomfort. She ordered me to take him immediately over to the hospital for a spinal fluid draw where he and I were then placed in a quarantine room overnight and still told nothing about what was going on with my baby. The next day when another doctor came in to see my son, she performed a basic exam just as Dr Johnson had in her office the day before and discovered the ear infection that I had originally went to her for, he was treated for it accordingly. The treatment for his ear infection included antibiotics NOT spinal fluid draws and quarantine rooms. That was 21 years ago, thank God my son was okay! She never came in to even check on him and find out how he was. My children went to Dr Viegas. My daughter was a patient of Dr Carol Johnson at the Greenwood Pediatrics office for 3 years. Around 1 year, I started to voice concerns about delayed milestones and the fact that my child refused to sleep for days at a time. No fewer than 6 different visits did I voice these concerns, only to be dismissed by Dr Johnson every time. She always explained the sleep problems as something my daughter would grow out of, despite the sheer terror we were all going through with a baby who wouldn't sleep for upwards of 48 hours. After getting fed up with the lack of concern for an obvious problem, we went to Riley and saw a pediatrician. My daughter was diagnosed with autism and developmental delays less than 2 months later. I truly believe these problems would have never been addressed if we had kept going to Dr Carol Johnson, she was dismissive and patronizing to me because I feel she viewed me as a young mother who knew nothing (28 years old, first baby) but I was able to see major problems early on in my child that the doctor refused to take seriously. My children all see Dr. Johnson and also see nurse practitioner Debbie and Leslie. They are ALL fantastic. They listen to my concerns and are very thorough. My son had a strange cough. Everyone said it just sounded like a normal cough but to me it didn't sound right. I had Doctor Johnson check him out and listen to his lungs. She said he sounded fine but ordered an xray to emilinate any possibility of pneumonia. Sure enough it was the start of pneumonia. She always listens to my concerns. My kids have been going to her for about 10 years now. I will NEVER change doctors. The staff is wonderful!!! My children all see Dr. Johnson and also see nurse practitioner Debbie and Leslie. I've used this office for over 2yrs and I love it! My son see's Dr. Goettler most of the time and she's fantastic! Very experienced and will take her time with you answering any questions or concerns. Anytime I call with concerns they call me back in a timely manner. They are very good at what they do and staff is friendly. My son will see anyone on duty when Dr. Goettler is not and I couldn't be more satisfied. The pediatricians in this office are very experienced. Very satisfied with the services A++ service. I've used this office for over 2yrs and I love it! Dr Johnson is very good at making sure you understand what is wrong and giving you advice as to what would help. She always has brochures available to help you at home.

We can always get a same day appointment. The doctors and nurse practioners are extremely timly. We love that we can talk directly to a nurse during office hours and speak w/ a doctor if needed.
