I always had great experiences with our pediatrician the first two times I came here. Our pediatrician said if my newborn ever got sick and we were very concerned to bring her right in without worrying about appointment. My newborn got sick, wasn't eating or sleeping and had a really bad cough. She was so uncomfortable and fuss and also throwing up her milk. I was very concerened so I was gonna bring her in to the office so I called before hand to let them know I was coming and the receptionist on the phone was so rude. She stated that she had appointments they had to take care and why would I bring her in. I'm telling her my baby isn't eating and breaking out in sweats and it's like making an appointment is more important all of a sudden. Don't wanna come back here which is a waste since her doctor was so helpful but I guess a bad seed ruins it for everyone. Love our doctor I used to be one of his patients just can't get passed how extremely rude and not helpful some of those nurses/medical assistants are Jen is extremely rude and acts like you're bothering her and as though she doesn't even want to be there. Unfortunately that was not our first incident with a rude nurse at their office and we are now forced to switch pediatricians. A few of them are great ! Dr. Abiragi mis-prescribed my daughter's GERD medication by 10 TIMES the safe amount. When I was in the office a nurse assured me she double checked the dosage with the Dr. and that it was accurate. Thank God I have common sense and did not administer the unsafe dosage. When speaking with a nurse during my child's reflux attack they were extremely rude and made me feel like I was at fault/a burden/overreacting. We now see Dr. Vempati who is ABSOLUTELY wonderful!! Please heed my warning!
