The experience in the sleep study conducted by Dr. Salvatore was nothing short of disappointment and a waste of money. I was disappointed to see a low review for Dr. Salvaterra. I've had severe asthma since early childhood and have been under the care of multiple pulmonologists throughout the years- she is one of the best I've had. In addition to being a good clinician she seems like a compassionate person, too.

A waste of my time and hard earned money.

Absolutely do not recommend going here for sleep problems. The doctor and staff focus on maximizing billing and not at all on patient care. They were more than happy to aggressively take my money but did nothing to help my situation. This is nothing more than a scam to take your money.

My experience in a sleep study was nothing short of a disappointment. In my opinion, the objective of the practice is to maximize billing providing no care for the patient’s issues. In my situation, the practice billed highly without resolving anything. I paid hundreds out of pocket for them doing nothing. I strongly advise to try to seek alternative medical care for a sleep study.

Seven months and still waiting for medications. Office staff horribly incompetent to get records from other doctors, prescriptions, lost cds , etc.

Dr. Salvaterra is an excellent pulmonary specialist. She is a caring person and straight-forward communicator who will devote ample time to appointments. I look forward to my next visit and to obtain her expert interpretation to my latest test results.

Very pleasant and comfortable to speak with. Really LISTENED to my plight. Projected confidence and concern. A very pleasant first encounter. Would recommned her very highly.

First time visiting Dr. Salveterra today. She was extremely arrogant & rude. She barely listened to my health concerns before blurting out a premature diagnosis. She blamed my current respiratory distress on childhood asthma even though I hadnt been bothered by it in 40 yrs. And without asking about other possible causes (old bldg renovation next door dust in ventilation system) she deemed it asthma before she even used her stethoscope to listen to my chest. Had to speak over her to be heard.

Dr. Salvaterra is an exceptionally empatic physician. She is thorough, thoughtful and unhurried.

She is very knowledgeable, personable and kind. Also speaks the truth without being harsh or condescending in any way. She and her staff are excellent representative of Johns Hopkins.

Dr Salvaterra is an amazing Dr. she takes care of each and every patient. She takes time with her patient and explain everything to your understanding. Dedicated..honest. Her office is clean her staff is pleasant and respectful.

Best dr ever!!!

From the first time Dr. Salvaterra walked in the examination room, I felt very comfortable. She walked through the door with knowing my case, in and out of the hospital several times, and going over all the information that she had gathered. She explained everything, the reasons why she was doing things. I wish all doctors where as thro as she is. I totally recommend Dr. Salvaterra.

I've been a patient of Dr. Salvaterra since May 2015. She and the other pulmonologists in the practice are AMAZING! It's refreshing and comforting when you are admitted to be seen by your regular pulmonologist or one which you are familiar and they are knowledgeable about YOUR SPECIFIC case and not just a textbook version of similar symptoms. Every "body" is different and everybody is different. Dr. Salvaterra and colleagues understand this concept and are AWESOME!

I found Dr. Salvaterra to be very knowledgeable, cordial, and committed to my best health. She was quite pleasant to speak with, patient, and listened to my concerns. All issues were addressed prior to my departure. I wish more physicians were like her.

I recently moved to Laurel, MD from Pennsylvania where I had been treated for severe COPD for about five years. I dreaded leaving my pulmonologist and hoped I could find another with whom I could be comfortable and confident. I need not have worried. Dr. Salvaterra is the best! She is kind, concerned, listens to and cares about her patients.She is knowledgeable about treatments and medications and leaves no stone unturned in helping each patient achieve his/her maximum quality of life.

I first met Doc Salvattera in the hospital 4 ½ years ago after an unrelated illness which prompted a chest ct scan which turned out to be ok except for a small spot on my right lung. The doc’s hospital bedside manners and clam voice at the time convinced to do a follow up exam in her office in the coming weeks. She was and is very thorough in her practice and very attentive with her patients. The doc followed my care for 8 months with many appointments and explained her finding with utmost concerns and as it turned out was right on the money in her final diagnosis. She was there in my room after the surgery to make sure all went well. Thank You Doc!

I have worked with Dr. Salvaterra in a professional manner. I always thought she spent quite a bit of time with her patients. She was always attentive to their need and the needs of the nursing staff. We still haven't found a diagnosis but she is continuing the search. As a patient I feel respected by Dr. Salvaterra. I would recommend her to any pulmonology patient.

The Best! Took great care of me after my pneumonia.03/05 Insisted I have a biopsy done on my Right-Upper lobe. She was right of course, I did have cancer. I'll never doubt her again. Rt/upper lobe remove.12/05 I've been getting excellent follow up care since then.I trust her with my life.
