First visit was amazing. Dr. Hurtado was very warm, inviting and professional. She made me feel comfortable during my visit. Loved my first experience. Her team was amazing!!!

I recently switched my PCP to Dr. Hurtado and I can't say enough great things about her and the practice. She went through my history, asked all the right questions, and was on-time. I recommend her as an internist at Memorial Hospital Miramar. It's great because you can fill your prescriptions right there at the pharmacy before you leave. I am all about convenience!

I am a pacient of Dr Hurtado since 2016. She treat you as a person, not a number in her file. She is a great doctor and I definetely recommend her.

She explained everything in layman's term and made me feel very comfortable.

Virtual visit today, she didn’t as many questions and was pretty rude and dismissive. Her diagnosis was to call back in a week if not improved. When I told her the things she suggested to help had not worked she offered no alternatives. Cold, unhelpful and a bad bedside manor to someone who is not feeling well. Also not a correct diagnosis after speaking with a second doctor who was helpful. Obviously her score is pretty low overall so I would guess I am not the only person she has been unhelpful and dismissive to.

I did a telehealth with Dr Hurtado. She let me explain my condition and previous medication I had prescribed before by other doctors and the results, never interrupting me. I like that. She then brought in her medical knowledge and prescribed the very medication that had worked best for me in the past. I am at the end of the treatment process and I feel great. If I lived in her hometown she would automatically become my personal doctor. What a pleasure to consult with her. Wish I could give her a big hug. I don’t usually recommend a doctor but I recommend her. Any time I need medical help of a general nature I and skipping my local doctor and doing a telehealth with her.

I had been to AssociatesMD in the past but never with Dr. Hurtado. She didn't seem to be listening to my concerns and had a smirk on her face while I told her was my issue was.. Unprofessional. She also rushed the appointment. I will not be going back

This was my routine 6 moth visit.

My first appointment was an annual visit. I went to the office and was never told it was not annual. Afterwards, I received a bill from the office for a co-pay because they don't consider the first visit an annual check up. However, I was never asked for a co-pay at the time and no one told me. In all doctor's office they don't let you see the doctor unless you pay a co-pay known as fee for service. When I booked the appointment a month before, I told them it was my annual visit.

I did recommend Dr. Hurtado and was sorry I did, because my friend is suffering with cancer and in treatment, has a urinary track infection and the doctors assistant not only refused to give her a referral to a gyn appointment she scheduled, wouldn’t give her an emergency appointment with Dr. Hurtado, and didn’t relay the message to have the doctor call her...forcing my friend to suffer unnecessarily and seemingly out of blatant cruelty...office manager never returned calls either....Horrible!

Dr. Hurtado was one of the physicians assigned to the WalkIn Clinic the day I went for an ankle injury evaluation. She didn't even touched my ankle, although the swelling was almost gone (after a week of the injury) and I told her my pain level was 1-2. She asked me to move my foot in all directions, told me it didn't seem broken and prescribed an x-ray to confirm. That's all. Less than a 5 minute evaluation. Very poor service for a very expensive appointment.
