Unlike many Male Doctors, Carmella is more focused on doing a good job then the Males are on asserting their authority (I'm the Doctor syndrome) & feeding their ego. Carmella takes a collaborative approach, listens, & includes whatever she's told (including pushback/ questions) & uses those things as valid input in whatever her conclusions/ courses of action ultimately become.
