I've had a very good experience with Dr. De Celis. Very professional, caring and friendly, always willing to clarify my doubts about the treatment as a patient and any other concerns. I recommend him 100%.

Each visit he takes time to talk to me about anything. He is kind and caring and we talk and laugh together. He meets all my medical needs and I trust his decisions and recommendations!

I know a great physician when I see one. I have had a 12 out of 10 experience with this man and his staff for 5 1/2 years in their caring for me & curing my breast cancer. I used to work in hospice and have escorted many family & friends to oncology visits. Dr. Carlos RDC is by far tops — stellar in both his knowledge & compassion. I highly recommend him if anyone you love needs an Oncologist.

I have been a patient with Dr Rubin DeCelis since 2009. He treated me for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. It has been in remission since completion of my treatment. He carefully monitors my case with semi-annual visits. I feel that I am in very good hands.

We absolutely adore and trust Dr. DeCelis, capable and kind and encouraging. Staff is always friendly and professional, especially the lab staff. However, communication after any visit is challenging, whether they are supposed to follow-up with you, or you are trying to reach the nurse or even make an appointment. Their “ticket” system of leaving a message is terribly inefficient for the patient—you may or may not get a call returned. Sometimes it is same day, sometimes you have to try again after waiting a week. You are left wondering what your next step is. We love the doctor, but find the bureaucracy frustrating.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin Dr Celis’ for many years. He’s a family man, and an outstanding physician. He LISTENS to his patients. He makes patients feel like they are a part of the resolve and/or care. He’s very respectful, and shows the utmost care and concern. I've known Dr. Carlos Ruben deCelis for years as he masterminded my comprehensive and complex treatment...twice. This Dr. is the most transparent, authentic and genuinely caring physician I've known. A brilliant clinician and diagnostician, he still allowed me to collaborate with him and the treatment team who attended to any concerns I voiced along the way. He is respectful of his patients in his charge and incredibly generous with listening and taking time with us. His medical management of me (and my husband) was pristine and my complete confidence and trust in him to take care and oversee my health is unwavering. An example of how extraordinarily caring Dr. RDC is: when my husband was hospitalized, he visited him every morning and made a point to refer to my husband's photographs on the wall and tell a quick memory or quip of him to the staff to emphasize to the staff they were working on a person, not just another patient. Dr. RDC is absolutely the best of the best.

I would not no know where to start describing my experience with Dr. de Celis care, except more than completely satisfied! Having breast cancer is not something to cheer about, but with Dr. de Celis on my side, I feel completely confident. Never, have I felt rushed in my office visit and he answers all question with precise answers. He's very friendly and personable with his patients and has one of the best nurses. Here is an example. I was going to start an oxygen chamber treatment and I had a few questions how that would effect my cancer treatment. I called the office, talked to Dr. de Celis. Feeling confident I went on with my treatment with confidence. I highly recommend Texas Oncology, all their team members and Dr. de Celis. I've been a patient of his for several years!

Dr. Rubin de Celis is very professional. He is well qualified to treat oncology patients because he is knowledgeable and has years of experience. He also is a doctor that cares for his patients. When I have an appointment with Dr. Rubin de Celis, I feel like I can always talk with him. I ask lots of questions and always get answers. YES!!!! I WAS SEEING HIM FOR BREAST CANCER--I THINK THE WORLD OF HIM---WHEN MY MOM GOT LUNG CANCER, I TOLD HER SHE WAS GOING TO SEE HIM--1) BECAUSE SHE WOULD LOVE HIM LIKE I DO AND 2) BECAUSE I WAS GOING THERE--THEY EVEN WORKED IT OUT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO HAVE US BOTH WITH SAME TIME APPTS TIMES--HE ALWAYS RUBBED HER HEAD WHEN HE CAME IN-SAID HER HAIR WAS SO SOFT AND SHE WOULD JUST LAUGH ALMOST FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. I WILL BE EVER GRATFUL FOR HIS TAKING CARE OF HER AND STILL TAKING CARE OF ME---I HAVE JUST ENTERED MY 5TH YR BEING CLEAR!!!

He's the best doctor ever!! I visited the ENT doctor and was diagnosed there and he recommend Dr. Carlos Rubin de Celis. As you might have the same experience, my brain was completely shut down...Cancer?! Me!? When I first visited him in 2020 June, my schedule was actually 2 weeks after but he put me in much earlier because he wanted to tell me what's going on my body and take away my concerns as many as possible. Still remember how much relief I had at the first visit. That was my first visit and was thinking about the second opinion but I felt he's the right doctor instantly. I did the second opinion in Houston and that was a horrible experience. I discussed with him what the other doctor said and he explained so well what he thinks and what I need. He listens, cares, and explains so well, and answers my all questions all the time. He and my ENT doctor have a connection and keep updating each other, which I feel very comfortable with and feel very take care of.

Dr. De Celis is always helpful in all ways. He is generous with his time and helps me to understand my condition and medications.

The doctor I previously had for many years, Dr. Fain, left to go into private practice. Dr. Fain was very kind and compassionate. I had more than one complication and he was was called in by my surgeon for an opinion about an issue that arose. Since that day he has been with me every step of the way.
