Dr. Herrera is a very caring and genuine doctor. Excellent at his field of practice and wonderful bedside manner. I am very blessed to have him as my specialist.

Dr . Herrera is such a sweet heart , very professional. He is treating my 19 year old daughter and the way he explains things to her and me is so comforting. I would definitely recommend him ... his staff is also the best !!!

This guy is the worst! Get out of his office!! NOW!! he tells you what you want to hear. COMETELY MISDIAGNOSED my wife's RECURRENT cancer. He had a colorectal surgeon, and a certified UROLOGIST tell him my wife had a tumor, all he did was deny it. Told us all she had was a side effect of radiation.my wife had to have an ileostomy and nephrostomy tubes put in never raised a red flag for him, and he continued to deny cancer. She is now at Md ANDERSON. Best place to go! Please leave his office NOW!

Dr. Herrera is a very knowledgeable man in his field and tells it like it is. I was very impressed with his passion on gynecological issues, especially, gynecological cancers, and treating the women in the Rio Grande Valley the same way you would be treated at MD Anderson. Dr. Herrera made me feel like I was the most important person in his care and that my cancer was top priority. I felt safe and well taken care of in and out of the hospital. He truly was a Godsend in my life.
