Absolutely fabulous. Everything you want in one doctor: experience, knowledge, great bedside manners, and respect to the patient. He diagnosed me with Graves' disease and started treatment. I adore him and would recommend him to my friends.

He was highly recommended to me by a colleague. When I went to him, he did same tests on me as her plus a sleep study. I had gained 40 lbs in 1 year due to extreme fatigue and back pain. My AM cortisol came back 1 above hers, and he refused to treat me as he did her. He was obsessed with me being fat and needing to lose weight. Here is the WORST part....he ordered a sleep study. He sent me a letter in the mail saying I was fine and information on a medical liquid diet. I never asked for a copy of the sleep study. BIG MISTAKE. Dr. Carlos Hamilton of UTH told me I was fine. I have written proof. That was a lie! The sleep medicine specialist wrote in the sleep study that 1 further test/study should be performed. Hamilton thought since he knew 'apnea' and more than a sleep specialist that I was fine. WRONG - I had and do have a rarer form of sleep apnea called U.A.R.S. What an ignore, and arrogant jerk! I lost 2 years of my life and gained more weight. Almost lost my job and did lose my marriage.

Dr. Carlos Hamilton is an amazing doctor. He is sensitive to the patients' needs and concerns, and very knowledgeable. I have always had good visits/experiences when I make appointments with him.
