I spent 18+ hours a day by my mother’s side. I didn’t go to work or anywhere because I felt fearful leaving her there, as there never seemed to be anyone around. For the duration, I ran home only to shower and grab food to bring back. This doctor did nothing for my mother that I ever witnessed. I would recommend anyone to take their loved one home for true care. And I would have been able to rest myself some. We had nice moments of praying and wakefulness until the drugging began. It was not “as needed” as promised. I am fearful of giving honest details because then the review is rejected. Surviving a Mother’s death is painful. Getting over our experience there may be impossible. To add insult to injury, they want to hand out blankets as some sort of strange cheap consolation prize which I found bizarre and hurtful. I will make sure I put in writing that I die anywhere else, even if home alone. I find it only fair to tell all sides.

This amazing man has assembled a team of equally amazing people who supported my dad, and all of his family, as he took his last breath. I cannot find words to thank them enough for the kind, gentle, compassionate support they provided to my family during the final days of Dad's life.
