I can't thank Dr Shapiro enough for relief he's given me. He's done procedures that other doctors say couldn't be done. I just wish I would of seen him earlier. He's literally turned my life around that I'm more active and pain is reduced and managed. The office staff he has today is caring attentive. Highly recommend him.

One of the best doctors I've ever had, Dr Shapiro is a professional one of the best in his field. He listens and works with the patient and primary to come up with a plan. He truly is genuine caring physician. The new office in Cincinnati is very nice.

i have been going to dr. shapiro for eight years now. from the begi nning every visit has been precise diagnosing my problems. doc spends time listening to everthing i have to say and answers all my questions. could not believe there is another pain ma angement dr as concerned for his patients.

Do not waste your time with this office if you have a BWC claim? My experience with Dr. Shapiro was good but his staff was less than desirable. The behavior of the staff that handles their claims is appalling to say the least. I was hopeful this experience would be good considering I was referred to this office by a very respectable doctor. Turned out to be another let down. Instead of trying to find a solution to the problem the staff was just argumentative and not willing to listen to reason. They will try to bully you into making Dr. Shapiro the POR by telling you they can't fill out paperwork when that's false information. You can have multiple treating physician's that can fill out the majority of your forms. Mine being a Medco 31. My POR can't fill that out because he is a Chiropractor and doesn't prescribe meds. His staff told me that they can't fill that out unless Dr. Shapiro was my POR. They also didn't want to call about the manual manipulation which he volunteered to do and was, in fact, approved by the BWC, it just needed an extension. The girl told me I had to call myself. Then proceeded to tell me that they cancelled all my future appointments, even my future pain management appointment, because the BWC isn't approving my visits because my first C-9 read that it was for evaluation and treatment x1. This was not the case. In fact, they scheduled me twice since that first eval, it was discussed at length with the doctor and the staff. Which is why the proceeded to schedule me once in Jan, Feb and my next follow up would have been this month. They did bill BWC for the visits and were paid accordingly. Why would anyone want to treat with a physician whose staff lies, argues with their patients, and doesn't seem to want to help? Are they just lazy? I've never had to beg for a doctor's office to help, it's something they typically do willingly. I've also never been spoken to with such disrespect by a person who should be projecting a positive customer service experience. His staff is a poor reflection of the care I believe he genuinely wants his patients to receive. Unfortunately they lack the compassion, and integrity which are great character traits to consider when deciding whether or not you want these folks handling your care. I don't see how this doctor's day is in business if he treats every patient like hes treating the person I know. It's been over a week sense they called in the wrong prescription, the pharmacy has sent over four messages through the doctor and we have called called them twice and still haven't heard anything back. This is way beyond being unprofessional, this doctor definitely doesn't care about his patient physical or mental health. I'm going to look into calling a local news station to letting them know about how this doctor treats his patients. Cares and very nice person with good manners, had to see when I had surgery several years ago

He understands my pain issues. He’s very easy to talk to. He is stern and will tell you just how it is. I would recommend him to my family and friends or anyone with pain issues.

Dr Shapiro is a good man he listens and understands and helps people who have difficulties with pain . His staff is awesome very good Dr.

I love this office and staff. Dr. Shapiro is personable and knowledgeable. I've had issues that I've dealt with for years and years that I very casually mentioned to him after seeing many specialists about. He was the first one to ever suggest the things he suggested... And he was right both times. In addition, the office staff is wonderfully helpful too. I have a difficult work to deal with sometimes and they've always gone above and beyond to help me with that. Some of them can come off a tiny bit abrasive at first, but I think it's just because they'll always so busy. I've been going here for over a year and even moved with them from their last office location. This one is much better and I will continue to see them as long as I need help managing my pain. The most unorganized staff EVER! They have no idea what they are doing! They lie about any and everything! Dr. Shapiro acts as if he has no time to listen because he is trying to see too many patients in one day. You will be in the office for hours! He has no sympathy or compassion for his patients. He lacks understanding, shows no empathy and just wants you out of his office. All he wants is his money and for you not to question him.

I had back trouble for years. After a Bad Chiropractic Visit my PCP sent me to see Carl . A few tests, pics and and MRI. He found the problem and it was fixed after a simple surgery. About a year later he and his staff. Treated me for Pain Management after a Battle with Esophageal Cancer! He and Sean are Awesome and both are very Careing Doctors! I’m no longer in pain management and doing well thanks to their care!

Worst doctor experience - definitely stay away from this doctor. Have been having neck pains and heard so much positive about Dr Shapiro. Spent so much effort to schedule time with the greatly-reviewed Dr Shapiro. Then had to wait for 2 hours in the office because he is so busy. Finally was told that someone else will see me, not Dr Shapiro. That doctor spent just a 5 mins with me - told me to come back when my pain is at the highest level and said that he cannot do anything at that moment. Did not even suggest anything. All the Drs in this practice are extremely friendly and amazing.... The front desk staff are always there to help as well.

Dr Shapiro is top notch and so is the nurse practitioner Dr Wolfe. Dr Shapiro is extremely smart and I believe he actually taught Drs as a Professor for years. He will help you with your pain but junkies beware because you will get Urine tested and even mouth swab which you can’t cheat on. I noticed another person (who probably got discharged for failing a drug test) call him a pill mill, nothing could be further from the truth. Really don’t waste your time if you can’t pass a mouth swab or urine test every month. Dr Shapiro is Old School and likes respect and honesty and really worked with me as my money was tight when I fought for my disability because I was straight up with him. He honestly listens. Does a great job of calming me dwn. I "white coat" Dr appts stress me out. I suffer PTSD and chronic anxiety. I rarely have to wait very long for my appt time. Having a pain management Dr able to manipulate is awesome. I try to do as much natural as possible. It's amazing one pop and my neck pain is gone for a good month or two, or three. That way I can deal with the other three areas if pain. Marina is always so sweet. Takes a honest intereste in how your really doing. Dr Stephenson, sure knows his stuff. Thought my muscle was hurting, nope..tore a ligament when I fell. These three know their stuff. Hope the new nurses are as good! Hope I don't have to find a new DR. Dr. Shapiro is an empathetic and very knowledgeable physican. He is very personable as welll and all of these qualities are hard to find in a pain management physician. He is also able to do manipulations which is very effective in reducing my pain. The staff is friendly and they have been very accommodating any time I have needed to reschedule. Dr. shapiro is amazing! I always feel that he listens to my concerns and answers all my questions. It can be a busy office but I never feel like just a number. The front desk ladies are professional and have great personalities, scheduling is quick amd my pain is doing alright.. It will never be gone but its doing much better and that's the goal. Dr. Shapiro is very good doctor. I've suffered with chronic pain for years and his administration seems to be the only ones that cares. They have done their best to help me to find peace and comfort. Not all care the way his office seems too. I see Dr. Marina in his office and she is wonderful. She's so caring and takes it to heart . You don't find many doctors like her. Most of them it's heres your script and then next. You won't find that at Dr. Shapiro's office. Your not sitting in the waiting room for no hour. I've waited no longer than 20 minutes. They take their time with you and they listen to you. I love the girls out in the front office. They try to work with you and they are friendly. I could go on but I want. He is a horrible doctor!! He doesn't care about your pain. He is rude and treats you like you are nothing!! I could hear other patients telling what they are prescribed to one another and that he needs to give them more.. Pill Mill. He won't be in business much longer.

Dr Shapiro and NP Wolfe are the best. Dr Shapiro has been able to do epidurals with great success that other Doctors have attempted and said they couldn't achieve successfully. Highly recommend.

Only my second visit but already so happy that I found this doctor. Dr Shapiro is extremely friendly, personable and very thorough. He really took time to explain everything to me regarding my treatment/ailments. I leave his office feeling great after he takes time and great care in "adjusting" me. Best dr no complaints except sometimes there is a long wait

Entire staff is very polite about making sure that all instructions are understood .Just fantastic people medical care and fully aware of any concerns are addressed.Lovely atmosphere very careful that i understand my medications and any concerns i have.

I was very pleased with my visit today. Dr Shapiro found issues I have been having trouble with, and is doing something, not sitting on his hands. I am so happy he's addressing these issues...

I have been a patient of Dr. Shapiro's for more than three years, I have zero complaints But if I was going to be picky, it sometimes takes an hour plus to see him. But at the same time I realize that it's because he spending so much time with his patients, subsequently the next patient will have to wait longer to be seen. A lot of the time that ends up being ME.. So I understand the frustration of waiting but I also appreciate the attention and the care that and I get every month. He has great office administrators and other professionals that are incredible. They all care about us as patients. They do not treat and Street ! ????????
