Carl Edward Hubbell

Been trying for two days to get someone to answer the phone. Nothing... Can't even leave a message. I'm supposed to do a follow up with him. I guess that's not happening..

His bedside manner is amazing. He explained everything he was going to do. Great Doctor.

This is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever come into contact with and I have been in healthcare for over a decade. Not only is he rude, he refuses to explain things to patients or family members. I had legitimate concerns over my family member, and when asked simple questions and wanting clarity on my family members plan of care he became frustrated, told me she could leave AMA, and refused to answer any of my questions. The surgery itself seemed to have gone fine (with the limited information that I was able to get from nurses since Dr. Hubbell refused to answer my questions) but his patient management after is abysmal, and not in line with standard of care. This is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever come into contact with and I have been in healthcare for over a decade. Not only is he rude, he refuses to explain things to patients or family members. I had legitimate concerns over my family member, and when asked simple questions and wanting clarity on my family members plan of care he became frustrated, told me she could leave AMA, and refused to answer any of my questions. Got me in for surgery quickly, but there wasn’t much to be said about the quality of work. On top of that, when I attempted to ask questions after the surgery he was quick to speak over me, wouldn’t let me finish a sentence, and answered with what he assumed I was asking. Was in a rush to get me in and out to the point that he didn’t listen to my concerns about a possible rebreak. Stuck a band aid on it with the adhesive on the wound and sent me on my way. Unfortunately I did wind up rebreaking the bone above the surgery point. Instead of discussing or explaining anything he went straight to amputation. Wouldn’t clarify anything and made it a point to tell me he was to busy trying to get two other people out to stop and talk. I don’t have any idea what kind of person would be willing to just agree to amputation without any clarification or information, but that’s not me. I’m sealing a second opinion and so far they haven’t even mentioned amputation. So I’m glad I refused the second surgery with Dr. Hubble. Great Dr., Very down to earth and easy to talk to, explains in detail every procedure. Wonderful sense of humor. Pray to God I never need another surgeon, but he will definetly be the Dr I will use

Great to detail and concern for proper healing. Funny, funny doctor lots of jokes. Always a positive attitude. Highly recommend

I had surgery on my leg back in September 2018 and I love the care Dr Hubbel gave me staff was friendly and Dr. Hubbel was very understanding to my questions and anything else I needed my leg healed up great too

The doctor has a very gentle personality that gained my trust immediately. I am so very happy with my procedures. I will definitely return for followups. The entire staff is outstanding. The experience very positive for me.

Do NOT come here if you’re in pain. Dr. Hubbell just preformed hand surgery on my mom and he wouldn’t prescribe her any pain medication whatsoever. He sent her home from the hospital and told her to buy some ibuprofen at the store. She couldn’t sleep because the pain was so bad, so we called his office the following day & they told her to go to the ER if her pain was that bad. Dr. Hubbell doesn’t care about his patients. He’s more concerned about getting in trouble for prescribing pain meds
