Doctor Chak has been my oncologist for 2yrs now. He never fails to answer questions I have and is always uplifting

Very pleasant , came in and sat down. Explained everything: test results, no need for chemotherapy. Recommended repeat genetic testing. No pressure to repeat testing, my decision.

Both my wife and I were extremely apprehensive upon arriving at his office. He put us at ease by saying he would not offer information unless it was clear and evident of the exact nature of my condition. I do not remember him using the phrase "I think" which lead us to believer he did not engage in idle speculation. It was this expression of certainty that made us feel comfortable.

Anytime you are battling a disease, you want to be confident in your health care provider. There has never been a doubt we are exactly where we are supposed to be! Dr. Chalk is patient, friendly, and genuinely concerned for his patients. He doesn't rush through the visit even if they are busy...he listens to every question. My husband and I tend to have alot! We have never doubted his decisions on my care or protocol. He is very knowledgeable, straightforward and honest. We are so grateful the Lord lead us to him! We had a very bad experience with a pushy Dr. at the beginning of this journey. Dr. Chalk was a breath of fresh air and relief for us. The staff is friendly and very encouraging; they know you by name. You are not a number but a person. Always greeted with smiles! Best place to be when you are fighting cancer!

I have been Dr. Chakmakjian's Patient for the past 15 years and have been extremely pleased the entire time. He listens to you. He shows concern and explains to you what treatment he intends to do. I think he is the best.

I have compete confidence in Dr Chalk. He explains things thoroughly , answers all my questions to my satisfaction. He is very comfortable to talk to , and makes patients feel at ease.

Dr. is very thorough and careful to review lab details.

Dr Chakmakjian called me at my home to discuss my labs and my course of treatment. He is always respectful and very caring with me.

Dr Chakmakjian (Dr. Chalk) is awesome! I am so thankful my primary care physician referred me to him. I had symptoms and lab work no one had previously been able to explain. He did a physical exam with a thorough lab evaluation and gave me an explanation I was able to understand. I’m so glad he’s my physician; he still does physical examinations even when he’s only seeing me for lab work follow up, during my last visit in January he identified crackles in my left lower lung; I didn’t have any symptoms, no cough, shortness of breath, nothing at all; he recommended I see my attending physician which I did the next morning. I was diagnosed with pneumonia!!! I am so grateful Dr.Chalk follows my care, if he wasn’t as thorough with his exam I probably would have had a worse case of pneumonia or even a trip to the ER or worse a hospital stay. I trust my care to Dr. Chalk and his staff. Everyone in the office is so friendly. The customer service is great They makes me safe with their COVID protocols. It is ALWAYS wonderful when I go there. The staff and doctor always puts me at ease. Battling cancer is very scary, and it is nice to know I am in good hands from the moment I walk in the doors there.

Dr. Chalk communicates with care and efficiency. He understands where you are in life and never makes me feel rushed. The treatments he’s recommended for me have helped immensely.

Dr. Chakmakjian is very patient and kind. He is very thorough in both his investigation into your health condition and in explaining the situation. I would highly recommend Dr. Chakmakjian and Texas Oncology.

yes I would most definitely recommend Dr. Chakmakjian! He's one of the best at what he does. He's what every doctor should be. Compassionate, great listener, sympathethic, all of the above. I hope that in my Cancer Journey, he will always be by my side.

Dr. Chakmakjian IS THE BEST!!! Always listens to me, always explains things in terms that I understand, always takes the time to talk to me and always asks how I am doing or if I need anything. Texas Oncology with all the wonderful nurses and Doctors and Nurse practitioners and lab staff made me feel relaxed, comfortable and they are ALWAYS so nice, friendly, helpful, happy and fun to be around during treatments and Dr. visits. I had a slight emergency with one of my treatments and none of them missed a beat in taking care of me and keeping me safe (and alive). I truly love all the employees at Texas Oncology. Yes I would recommend Dr. Chakmakjian to anyone! My visits to the clinic are always very pleasant. The staff and the nurses are always very patient and helpful.

Dr. Chak listens extremely well, is considerate, not unnecessarily talkative and very knowledgeable in his profession.

Dr. Carl Chakmakjian was very informative in my upcoming chemo treatments. He explained everything very well while my son and I listened. He answered our questions to our satisfaction. He also assured us if we had any questions to feel free and ask. We understand this treatment is very complicated and he explained and answered questions that we had. I have had two treatments and I think they have went very well. The problem I have had with the stent placement has been a problem with his completing a full treatment. This is not Dr. Chakmakjian problem, but it is causing some problem. Hopefully after the third stent placement thing will go smother.

It's not often that a patient visits a doctor who takes an inordinate amount of time both asking questions and listening to the patient's concerns. And shows genuine interest in the patient. Doctors of old used to practice this way, but with the way medicine is run these days it's pretty much a thing of the past. But not with Dr. Chakmakjian -- he's the real deal. I feel so fortunate to have been referred to him. Running some very specific blood tests he found a factor in my blood that explained an ongoing, potentially lethal condition. He explained why and how a certain medicine would mitigate future attacks that could take my life. While some people might bemoan that kind of news, for me, it was a godsend. Now I know why I have this strange condition that doesn't affect anyone else in my family. With his compassion, insight and knowledge, it looks like I will have quite a few healthy years ahead. Dr Chak in my book is one of my hero’s he had so much to do with me being where I am today. There’s not enough time to explain it all. So glad I had him as my doctor.

I have been under his care for 5 plus years. He has been extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and interested in my care. I am completely satisfied with my treatment, medication and direction of my treatment.

I found my encounters at the Waco Oncology to be very satisfying. Beginning with ease of scheduling, the waiting room time ( esp with the COVID safety issues), the receptionist, medical staff( esp the on site lab technician). I even had the satisfying opportunity to experience the onsite infusion clinic with the professional/ team players staff. They exhibited compassionate care consistently(esp with my IV insertion, I have always been a " hard stick") And my oncologist, has always asked relevant questions and allowed time for me to express my concerns( I have taken a list of questions) and answers me in a kind way for me to understand completely. So I have found the whole experience satisfactory from beginning to end( parking spaces are convenient as well).

Dr. Carl Charmaine, is a very caring doctor. He is willing to listen to his patients. Instead of him doing all of the talking.. He takes time to answer all of questions to where you can understand what you are dealing with. He doesn't treat his patients as if they are stupid or just another number.. He actually cares about his patients. And makes you feel a little bit better about what you are dealing with. His staff treats you with respect and makes you feel at ease and like family. I have been with Dr. Chakmakjian for two visits. I liked his relaxed manner and the obvious expertise he brings to his profession. The advice he gave to me and the medical procedures that were performed were appropriate--overall, a truly professional experience. When the time comes, I look forward to seeing Dr. "Chak" again.

I would recommend Dr. Chamakjian. He has been my Dr. for 7 years and has always been thorough in testing, diagnostics and treatment; as well as open and informative in discussing my health issues and treatment paths, including keeping informed of any health issues and/or testing that I have had for all other conditions. You don't find that in a lot of doctors. He has treated and currently treats other members of my family. I have complete confidence in him in hemotology and oncology.

Wrong diagnosis of side effects from chemo... turned out to be life threatening vasospasms... he refused to consider this side effect as it was considered 'rare'. He instead thought that is was an 'anxiety' thing... and thought maybe i should get on anti anxiety meds. I am a combat veteran... getting shot at never gave me chest pains so bad that I thought i was having a heart attack...
