Dr. Akin saved my life after I had a heart attack in 2008. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Akin's skill and knowledge.
Dr. Akin made me feel very comfortable and he is very easy to talk to.His staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Dr Akin is not only a great cardiologist, but an excellent teacher. I appreciate very much his open and low-key manner. It’s clear he believes in educating the patient, then helping me (instead of telling me what to do) make the right decision.
I’ve been with Dr. Akin since well before Centerpoint was built. He’s been my only cardiologist and I would never consider another one unless he retires. Very smart man, humorous personality and I always enjoy visiting with him. And most important he’s kept my heart healthy!
