Fairview EyeCare helped me through a medical emergency several years ago. Their professionalism and heartfelt care every time I walk through the door keeps me coming back and sending referrals.

They were so thoughtful about getting me in the next day because someone had grabbed my cell phone and glasses out of the passenger seat and broke both of them. The lady who answered my call was so understanding of what had happened to me that she put me in the day so I could get a new pair of glasses stated, just waiting for them to come in. Thanks ????

I've done the whole getting glasses at Wal-Mart thing. That is not the way to go. The glasses I received here were top quality and custom fit. I couldn't believe how much better I can see out of quality glasses. These people really take good care of you. Lindsey helped me pick out my frames (actually she picked them out). She was very attentive to what I wanted out of my pair of glasses. Once the new glasses came in. I made an appointment the same day and met with Lindsey again. She made sure that my glasses fit perfectly. She is very personable and definitely one of my new favorite people. Thank you and I'll see you in 11 months.

they don’t check benefits and then charge you AFTER the appointment bc they check the benefits afterwards to tell you you’re insurance doesn’t cover and ended up paying out of pocket

I had my yearly eye exam yesterday at Fairview eyecare P.A. The office is nicely decorated and spotless. The office staff was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. I saw Dr.D and he was amazing. It's a pretty small office/shop with a limited offering for frames. The eye exam went well but the optician was less than satisfactory. I asked about the different levels of antireflective coatings and he couldnt tell me why there was a price difference between the 2nd and 3rd levels until after consulting with someone else. Before he talked to his coworker about it, I got a- "I don't know, we just charge you extra" kind of vibe from him. This made me very apprehensive about making a purchase from them. I told them I would think about it and requested the PD with the Rx to take home. I was told the PD changes with each pair of glasses. I'm not sure how much I believe that esp. doing my own research. My son Is 7 months old and I had some worries about his Vision I brought him here and I can 100% say that this was the best experience ever especially for a little baby. The staff was so sweet and very patient. I came in here a few times in 2 weeks for an eye infection, everyone there was so nice and helpful. The staff upfront were kind and helpful with phone calls and setting up appointments. The doctor was great during the appointment and made sure I knew exactly what was going on and what needed to be done. Would highly recommend going there for any eye are service you may need. Not helpful at all they didn’t do the same thing to all three of my kids they made me pay for glasses when I had Medicaid they made me pay 2$ for the visit for one child but not the other two , Dr. put drops in my kids eyes to dilate the pupil but not the other children my first visit was fine but when I brought my other kids back the visit was different and they charged for two different things if you have Medicaid they will rip you off and get you to pay things after they did Unnecessary things to get money for Medicaid now my kids pupils is taking forever to go down and one of them didn’t even need glasses Not helpful at all they didn’t do the same thing to all three of my kids they made me pay for glasses when I had Medicaid they made me pay 2$ for the visit for one child but not the other two , Dr. put drops in my kids eyes to dilate the … More

Well I came in with my own glasses and my prescriptions they had my glasses for a while and when I called to ask wats going on they told me I would have to wait 2 weeks more without even a phone call. Once I receive the glasses they had put the wrong prescription . And wen I asked for a refund and now it's a hassle.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. I will never go back. I started this process in June. I finally just got my glasses resolved in September. The staff has absolutely no idea what's going on. They don't order things they say they will. They blame each other for not doing what they should've done. Dr. Patrick is knowledgeable, but has zero bedside manner. She is difficult to talk to and only want to hear herself talk. Mike quoted me over $100 more than he should've, and didn't even apologize. My lenses ended up being more than my whole glasses and lenses were at the last place I went to. I used my own frames and they charged me extra for it. They told me I was charged extra for something that would preventy lenses from being yellow tinted, they lied. Mine and my kids are yellow. Never had that before. They didn't get the script right the first time, had to get it redone. My glasses don't fit my face anymore, they were perfect. Overall, I would never recommend anyone go to this place. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR PD MEASUREMENT! Appointments were 30 minutes behind schedule. When we received my daughters prescription it did not have the PD measurement. I requested that the measurement be added. I was told that they do not give this out. I pointed out that the last two prescriptions that we got from other offices (I had copies with me) both had this listed as part of the prescription. They flat out refused to give me the PD measurement! As a back story...we have gone through 3+ pairs of glasses per year for my daughter, she breaks them, loses them, etc. The only reason we went to this office rather than our previous provider was because my daughter lost her last pair of glasses and this office was able to give us an appointment faster. Plus is is so close to our house. I was hoping it would be a great fit. NEVER AGAIN! I told the office staff that if I was not provided the PD measurement then no one in our family would ever be back. They let me walk out the door and would not provide the PD measurement. Dr.Patrick has the answers to your questions, does a thorough exam, has all the “bells and whistles” in equipment to check the status of your optic nerve, blood vessels, look for floaters, and diagnose eye damage from age or injury. After being repeatedly treated like I'm an idiot over getting something as routine as getting a new prescription, I will not be going back. It took me three visits for them to get my prescription correct, each time I was talked down to like I didn't know what I was talking about and forced to wait for ridiculous amounts of time. Every single person in that office was trying so hard to convince me that they gave me the right prescription in the first place that they refused to listen to what I was saying. Vision is completely subjective and I have been wearing glasses for a majority of my life, so there is no reason for them to try and keep me in contacts that I told them don't work for me. They messed up both my glasses and contacts prescription and when I brought it up, they told me that I was reading 20/20 so I didn't need anything changed. Even though I REPEATEDLY told multiple people (the doctor, the two techs, the front desk people) that it felt blurry still. They had no reason to try and keep me in that prescription, like it made NO difference to them whatsoever what strength I used, but they couldn't admit that they had messed up, even though I wasn't blaming/attacking them. When I came back for the third time and the doctor had me reading a chart with the prescription she gave me, I messed up a few of the letters, which means it needed to be adjusted right? No! She tried to give me hints of what the letters were to help me get the right answer. Me getting a 5/5 on a letter test was more important to her than actually finding the right prescription. I was not blaming them at all and I understand a prescription needing to be adjusted after they give it to you, but they were so rude the entire time and took forever to get back to me when I had genuine concerns about my vision. Do not get your eyes examined here unless you like people being completely condescending and rude to you. Idk why it took me so long to write a review, but I ordered my contacts and a new pair of glasses at this place. While I did receive my contacts I also got what I thought was a good pair of glasses, turned out to be poorly made when a few days later, they just broke and fell apart by itself while I was wearing them. I went back and explained what happened, but because I didn’t have a warranty for replacements, they said I have to pay for another pair. It’s not fair that I should have to pay for something that was made poorly enough to fall apart on its own. Great doctors!!!

Ammendment! After posting this review, Ms. Patrick called me and left me an email. Her office manager Jessica also called. They both said that the person I dealt with concerning the refund of the anti-glare coating did not have the permission of the business to make those types of decisions, nor make those statements to any customer. They offered to refund the fee for the anti-glare that was paid for and not received, and I received a check today. This resolution was all I really wanted, and it should have happened when I was in their office. I will say when I am wrong, and that's all I want from any individual or business. I thank Jessica and Ms. Patrick for their follow-up on this. I'll give them another shot at my business. After all, their product was good. Too bad this angry review had to be written at all....one bad apple and all that! Review! This was the second or third time to visit Fairview Eyecare, and it will be the last! I have IOL lens implants in both eyes, so my vision doesn't change much over time. I came in this time just to get new unscratched lens' in my current frames. The exam went alright. Never have seen the doctor, but her worker bees seem to do a good job. So all the testing gets done, and they call out the optician, a millennial that seems to be straight out of school, with an attitude, to ask a few questions. I say....leave the trifocal lens' in the position they are now in (in the current lens), keep the same size of trifocal lens', and I want anti-glare on them. He says....your current lens' doesn't have anti-glare on them, but I see that you paid for them last time. I'll see that they are coated on the new ones. I say....hey, I've already paid for this once, why am I paying again for something I never got in the first place. Without even getting up and asking anyone, he tells me....get this....he tells me that my previous visit was under a different "administration" and that they aren't responsible for their mistakes. Interesting, since Dr. Patrick is still the current owner of the business. Again I say that I want the anti-glare and I'm not paying for it again, so he says yes I am or I don't get it. I also only wanted the lens replaced in my current frames, but since I don't want to buy any of their frames, there will be a $15 "handling" charge for using my own frames. So my take on this place is this. Unless you're an optometrist or someone that completely understands the ins and outs of glasses, you better know how to check on what you're getting verses what you're paying for. This place will not stand behind their mistakes, and if you call them on it, it's their way or hit the streets. Not an I'm sorry, you're right, no charge, not a partial credit, no offer of anything other than our way or the highway. The services I received could have been done at any quality eyecare clinic, and the lab they use is probably used by every eyecare place in the area, and they did do a good job. But if you want a dose of honesty and responsibility with your product, keep your hand on your pocketbook or stay away from this place. This review was unsolicited, and every word in it is true. Recently Got my Exam ; I was concerned due to COVID but Dr.Patrick and the staff made me feel safe and I knew that not only was I getting the best care possible, but it was done with the proper sanitation techniques. During my exam I was fitted for new Cls. Before Dr. Patrick my eyes struggled to adjust and to feel comfortable in contacts. Thanks to her I Can enjoy wearing Contacts again. STAY AWAY from this office. The glasses selection is the worst I have ever seen and are way overpriced for non name brand frames. They don’t even have Ray Ban (the frame I most wanted) and sunglass selection is even worse. I also ordered contacts and they took over 2 MONTHS to come in. Also not a fan of the female dr.(I believe she owns the practice) She has a VERY arrogant attitude. The cleanliness of the facility was sub par I saw several dead insects in multiple areas. Make sure you clearly talk about the service costs you receive and insurance coverage, because they will come up with some amount Of money that you need to pay, after a year. After one year, they told me that I have to pay $250 for my daughter’s glasses which I changed last year. When I changed the glasses, they did not tell me that if insurance does not cover then I have to pay out of pocket. It just popped up. Ordered contacts a month ago, never received a call. Called them in regards to their whereabouts and oh, they're on back order. Ok so they give me 1 pair of trials to last a week. I call back, they're still on back order but they'll "get back to me today on if I can get another trial pair" which never happened, couldn't you just check your stock while I'm on the phone? How about getting me in something until they come in? I've been out of contacts for over a month which i get that manufacturer problems aren't their problem, my issue with this office is they put me on hold every time for long periods and then never get back with me like promised. I brought three of my kids in nearly a year ago for the oldest two to get an exam and the whole experience was as professional as anyone could expect. They got their exams, my oldest bout his own first year's supply of contacts and we had zero complaints.
