I heard about Dr. Heuser from a PCP who holds her in high esteem. The word of mouth endorsement was promising; however, after an initial consult I opted not to continue with her. She is doing AMAZING, rare impressive things, advocating for health and generously giving. Having endured previous obstetric experiences that didn't go well due to my physician's constant unavailability and distilled, distant subpar communication, I worried about where one little clinic patient such as myself would realistically fit in; Dr. Heuser has a full plate. If our paths had crossed at a different point in time, perhaps this would've felt like a better fit. Dr Heuser is currently my MFM. She is very knowledgeable, caring and efficient. I feel very taken care of having her during my high risk pregnancy. Yesterday I had a Shirodkar Cerclage put in, and she was great at explaining things, making sure to ask if i had any additional questions, and was diligent in researching all my past complications. Everything with the surgery seemed to go well. Excited to have a doctor I trust and feel comfortable with. Dr Heuser is currently my MFM. She is very knowledgeable, caring and efficient. I have had only one appointment so far with Dr. Heuser but already I am considering switching to her because she seems to be very honest in her dealings with patients and what she doesn't know to be fact. She seems willing to admit when she doesn't know something and that was VERY refreshing and reassuring to me. She doesn't seem too cautious and hyper sensitive to anything that you say might be a concern but cautious enough to do the right thing and watch and wait.
