Excellent physician and practice for my 90 year old brother with several medical issues. They are prompt, professional and very respectful of the patient. My brother has been pleased over the several years they have provided his primary medical care. Dr. Cabrera’s nurse is the best!

My last appointment was at 9:15. By 9:20, I was already in a treatment room with his assistant getting all the vital stats, and by 9:25 I met with Dr. Cabrerra. I feel fortunate having chosen Dr. Cabrerra from all the online reviews. He is the nicest most caring physician I have ever known, and everyone on his staff make your visit feel comfortable and stress free.. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great doctor.

Considering that my appointment was during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was very efficient. Staff practiced the recommended protocols, thereby making me feel safe. Wait time was very minimal. It was somewhat difficult carrying-on a conversation as both Dr. Cabrera and I had face masks on ... but that was the sign of the times. I am a snowbird, so only see Dr. C once per year. I have every confidence in him, and would recommend him to anyone.

Love Dr. Cabrera, he always answers my questions. Nurses are very nice.

I had what I suspected to be an upper respiratory infection. I was able to get same day appointment. I was given cough mediine and antibiotic. Doc did not rush me out.

I have been under the care of Dr. Cabrera for a few years, since we moved to the area. I always get appointments when needed. The office staff is excellent and very helpful. Dr. Cabrera always takes time to talk with his patients, ask questions and listens to what you are saying. I trust him and will continue to use him as my Primary Care Physician. Side note: As an RN, I'm a little picky about my doctors!

Dr. Cabrera is a kind and friendly Doctor. What I like the best is that the wait time to be seen is almost none. That is SO hard to find these days. I see him regularly and at the appropriate times labs are ordered so we always know what is going on with me. I would highly recommend Dr. Cabrera.

Dr Cabrera is the most intelligent, knowledgeable and caring doctor I have ever had. I have been living with a chronic progressive disease for 26 yrs and he has been the only doctor I have ever had out of several doctors over the years that has been able to manage and stabilize my condition. I have always had a great experience when I need to see a doctor, Dr. Cabrera has always listened to me health problems and done his best to treat me for whatever problem I have had to see him. The staff is polite and very helpful. I have recommended Dr. Cabrera to my friends and have been glad I did.

I always have a good experience at Dr. Cabrera's office. Everyone is very friendly including the doctor. My phone calls are always returned promptly and I have never had a long wait time. Very efficient staff.

Always ready to answering all questions

Very Happy with Dr Cabrera and his offices services, I am had several Health issues and travel issues being in and out of country and He has worked with me very well. My health is better now then when I started with him approximately 2 years ago and It is always easy to get in and I have never appointments run as smoothy when I did get in the office. He always seems quite klowedgleable in all problems and questions. I am very Happy with Dr. Cabrera.

I just moved into the Bradenton area and chose Dr. Cabrera based on information I got off the internet. I was able to get an appointment rather quickly and was able to get the information form online in order to have it filled out by the time I got to the doctor's office. When I left my doctor of 14 years to become a patient of Dr. Cabrera, I realized that at 75 years of age, I was going to spend the most critical time of my life under his care. I made the right decision. His offices are serene, he listens to me with no rush & is very thorough and his nurses & staff are friendly & remember me. At the end of the visit, he walks me to the reception area. I am important to him and the quality of care is important to him.  I made the right decision.

My previous primary care physician, Dr. Jose Acosta, who I saw for over 20 years, passed away & Dr. Acosta's office gave me Dr. Cabrera's name. I was hesitant to start over, but Dr. Cabrera was so nice, and willing to have me for a patient, I am happy I made this choice.

MY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN REFERRED ME TO DR CABRERA DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH SWELLING IN MY FEET, ANKLES, AND LEGS, WHICH HAD BEEN VERY BAD FOR NEARLY 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT, AND WHICH MEDICINE DID NOT HELP. , THE VERY FIRST THING I WAS ASKED WHEN I CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT WAS WHETHER OR NOT I TOOK ANY PAIN MEDICATION. I REPLIED THAT I DID..... DUE TO: THE RESULTS OF A VERY BAD 'TWISTED' FALL RESULTING IN A BROKEN HIP WHICH KEPT ME IN THE HOSPITAL FOR OVER A MONTH; AND ALSO DUE TO VERY SERIOUS ARTHRITIS, MUCH OF WHICH WAS BROUGHT ON DUE TO THE BROKEN HIP, AND ALSO SOME KIND OF CONGENITAL MALFORMATION THAT WAS FOUND IN MY SPINE THROUGH AN MRI. I STATED THAT I DIDN'T WANT AN APPOINTMENT FOR ANYTHING INVOLVING PAIN...... AND THAT SAID PAIN WAS BEING MANAGED BY A VERY GOOD PHYSICIAN. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN ABOUT THE SWELLING AND HOW WORRIED I WAS, BUT I WAS CUT OFF BY THE DOCTOR'S PHONE REPRESENTATIVE, WHO SAID THAT HE WOULD NOT SEE ANYONE WHO WAS TAKING ANY KIND OF PAIN MEDICATION. I REPLIED THAT I TOOK A VERY SMALL DOSE OF 4 PILLS OVER A 24 HOUR PERIOD, AND I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS DOCTOR WAS ACTING AS THOUGH ANYONE WHO HAD BEEN THE VICTIM OF A FALL, A CAR ACCIDENT, OR JUST PLAIN BAD HEALTH WAS BEING TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL, AND BEING REFUSED HELP! I REPEATED THAT A DOCTOR WAS MANAGING THE PAIN MEDICATION, AND THAT EVEN WITH THE 4 PAIN PILLS, MY PROBLEM WAS BAD ENOUGH THAT THE PAIN STILL INTERFERED GREATLY WITH MY HAVING A NORMAL LIFESTYLE AS I HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD BEFORE MY ACCIDENT. I CERTAINLY WAS NOT TAKING THEM FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT MY DOCTORS THOUGHT THIS MEDICATION WOULD HELP ME TO BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNINGS AND MOVE AROUND MY HOUSE, RATHER THAN BEING FORCED TO STAY IN BED OR IN A CHAIR BECAUSE GETTING UP TO DO ANYTHING WAS TOO PAINFUL!!!!! THIS DOCTOR'S BEHAVIOR WAS SUCH AN INSULT TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO SUFFER WITH PAIN DAY IN AND DAY OUT!! HE SHOULD GIVE THANKS TO GOD THAT EVIDENTLY HE HAS NEVER HAD TO ENDURE REAL PAIN IN HIS LIFETIME. HE SHOULD ALSO DO A HOSPITAL ROTATION SO HE CAN BE DIRECTLY INVOLVED WITH THE POOR PATIENTS WHO ARE HAVING TO EXPERIENCE REAL PHYSICAL PAIN DUE TO A HEALTH PROBLEM, AN ACCIDENT, ETC. THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST HURTFUL THINGS THAT HAS EVER BEEN SAID AND INFERRED TO ME..... NOT TO EVEN MENTION THE CRUELTY OF ALSO DENYING SICK PEOPLE MEDICAL HELP! MOST DOCTORS TRY TO HELP SICK PEOPLE FEEL BETTER------- NOT MAKE THEM FEEL WORSE BY INFLICTING A MAJOR INSULT, IN ADDITION TO MAKING THEM SPEND MORE TIME WITHOUT TREATMENT SINCE I WILL NOW HAVE TO GO BACK TO MY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN FOR ANOTHER REFERRAL.

I was in the worst pain in my life when I was admitted to HCA Blake Memorial,due to three herniated discs, and that's when I met Dr. Cabrera. He sent me up for an M.R.I., and the result was heartbreaking, I was also diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. Dr. Cabrera seemed to care with a sincerity that is seldom seen in most medical environments. I'am an uninsured college student but the doc kept me there anyway and made sure that I was in no pain and that I was very comfortable. The doc also saw me after my stay, at his practice, and he has gone above and beyond his so called ' call of duty' . If you where to ask me for my opinion on a practicing internal medicine specialist I would recomend Dr. Camilo Cabrera!
