Dr Melberg is great. He seems very knowledgeable about medical screening in addition to diagnosing and correcting vision. He's always calm and not rushed. His staff members are polite and helpful.

My prescription was wrong so I scheduled an appointment to get it adjusted and had to wait over a month. My family has been using this provider for years and the clinical care and service is great. One of the doctors stayed late to accommodate an ocular injury. I've had complicated glasses RXs and they have worked very hard with me to get the prescription correct. Progressive lens fitting for someone with vertigo is very challenging. I was there today to get my glasses adjusted and Eric (optical technician) did a superb adjustment on two pairs of glasses. He had several helpful suggestions on how to adapt my glasses and for having them work better with masks. My family has been using this provider for years and the clinical care and service is great. I've been going to this clinic for a few years now and havent had a bad experience. The staff there were very nice, held a conversation, and were ready to help with anything. Even when they're busy and running behind they make it a point to make their clients comfortable. Hi, I work in the insurance industry. My wife went to this provider (they are listed in network). Its the providers responsibility to look up and understand the contracts they have with various insurance companies and charge accordingly (and also submit a claim to the insurance carrier, which they did not do in this case). However, during the visit they charged their normal fees for retinal imaging even though it's covered in a basic exam through our insurance coverage. When I called the claims department, no claim had been submitted for this procedure two weeks later. During the visit, my wife asked about using her contact benefit and the staff said it was her responsibility to figure out what her insurance would cover (the amounts are listed on the ID care which was provided). In short, were I uninsured - their pricing seems reasonable. But they don't seem like they're abiding by the contracts they have with insurance companies and are not customer friendly. I would recommend going to see a provider that's going to actually charge you what you should be charged for their services according to the service contracts they are bound by.
