My father was sick for many year 5+ chasing a diagnosis. Dr. Boron is a miracle he took my dad on as a patient identified and diagnosed him in what felt like no time at all. after years of chasing answers the damage was done. My father was on a GI tube and unable to eat. Dr. Boron helped restore some quality of life for my dad. He referred him to a doctor at IUPUI and Methodist had an operation done there and my dad could eat fruit and some other foods for the first time in years because Dr. Boron believed in restoring my dads quality of life and refused to accept the min. This man was my hero. Vincent Smith Sr. of Elkhart was my father and Let me tell you Dr. Boron changed my dads life and for the better and he always was addressing issues and bettering my dads treatment plan in ways that made an impact. Dr. Boron Thank you for all you did my family was blessed the day you saw my dad as your patient. until 2006 when he never left Methodist alive due to overdose under the care of the hospital unfortunately mistakes happen and this one cost my dads life. This man is amazingly smart and has inspired a lot of ppl in life when there was no hope this man shined the light and showed my whole family how to never lose hope. Great Dr. but horrible communication. Put me on an Immune suppressant with out any followup !!!!!!! Called the DR. office about a month being on the medicine not feeling well and was asked "What do you want us to do about it?" I was speechless! I know see Dr. Rashid in Goshen

He was wonderful and the staff as well. Both my husband and I have had him do our procedures and was excellent. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was with this doctor over 10years. Poor communication from the staff and doctor. What doctor tells a patient that a once a week bowl movement is normal. The staff relay one message to insurance and a different message to the patients. The doc seems very knowledgeable but once you start checking your own facts he’s not the great doctor you thought. I am giving him two stars because he does seem to be an intelligent doctor who knows his stuff about what he has studied, but I am the husband of one of his current patients, and it's not been a pleasant experience with him. I feel awful for my wife for what she had to go through with this questionable individual. I don't need to go into details, just believe me when I say that he honestly flip-flopped on us more than once for the same thing. As in going back and forth on what we should do and what she needs to be taking and what is safe or unsafe. I'm not kidding, he actually called us a number of times telling us the exact opposite of what he told us before. Going on and off different medications, and that these medications are safe, but then they suddenly aren't, but then they are again. He always claimed to have said the opposite of what he really did. He didn't seem to be concerned about the baby we just had, but did tell us that our pediatrician doesn't know what she's talking about when all we are doing is trying to look out for both mother and new baby. Really, he called one of the medications "potentially toxic to the baby", so we should be taking something else. Then he later asks why we aren't taking the previous "toxic" medication, says we should be taking BOTH, and that it's perfectly fine. He also outright REFUSED to allow my wife some quick blood work just to see if she still needs to continue treatment, which was suggested by our pediatrician. Just to see. I don't know why you would deny someone this, unless there was something to gain from keeping us on the line. His behavior has really concerned me. I had a feeling at the start (He's different), but who am I to question? However, I don't trust a guy can't keep his story straight. Had this been a different medical situation, my wife could have been in a lot of trouble. Luckily we caught things early and have been doing well enough that his antics have not hurt my wife yet, but I grow increasingly concerned about how safe we are with him. We are currently switching to someone more competent and reliable. Great attitude. Spent quality time addressing my illness and a diagnosis plan. Made me fell very relaxed. Procedures went smoothly. Great experience.

Dr. Boron performed my colonoscopy at Elkhart General. I was put under "Conscious Sedation" meaning I could see, hear, and feel everything happening to me. I was scared out of my mind. I didn't understand. Afterwards, I asked him why he did this to me without any warning, and he told me it was the "standard of care." He told me he wasn't going to argue with me, that I shouldn't whine about a 15 minute procedure, and that if I didn't like it I could go get my colonoscopy somewhere else. Horrible.

Doctor Boron addressed all my problems. He also diagnosed my husband with achalasia and sent him to the best doctors for an operation. My is doing great, now.

Dr. Boron is a very intelligent person. He's the only Doctor I went to in the area who knew anything about the problems I was having with my throat and digestion. He quickly gave me answers and prescribed me medication that helped with the symptooms. after that he did a surgery to try to take out the root cause. Very thourough doctor. I had an ERCP procedure, and have had many health problems associated with this procedure. I can not recommend him. I do not think he is skilled in doing an ERCP. My Aunt was puntured while Dr.Borron did this procedure on her. She has had lots of health issues associated with the error. This happened some years ago. I am happy to save anyone else from any possible troubles. Thank you

I and my husband think he is awesome. He has taken great care of both of us over the years and referred us to soluions in indy that have extended and improved both our lives.

He sent me to get 3 expensive done and after the tests were done, his nurse called me and said everything was ok. He did nothing to address the pain or other alternatives. Definitely in it for the money. Did not even go over the tests with me. He had his nurse (probably the girl at the front desk) call me and she couldn't answer any questions. Avoid this man. Very dissapointing and disturbing. Dr Boron seemed more interested in testing the limits of my insurance coverage than actually developing a plan to address the issue that initially brought me to his office. Ended our apptment my asking if I had any questions. I kept asking about relief from the symptoms that led to scheduling the appointment but he was only interested in the high $ procedure he sheduled though the hospital that was three weeks out yet. He never adressed my pain concerns and i left in just as much pain as i had when I arrived. In short, I met with someone who was in a position to help with a health issue but chose not to do anything or even prescribe something in the interim before seeing how far he could take my insurance and wallet for a ride.
