Mr. Burt M Greenberg

Horrible experience! I reached out to Dr Greenberg about a fraxel procedure. First off, Dr Greenberg doesn’t do the fraxel procedure, an esthetician named Liz who graduated from the Brittany Beauty Academy in March 2019 does lol. They did not mention that on the phone. Greenberg wasn’t even in the building. Greenberg uses his machine, his name and his nice office and Liz from there Beauty Academy does the Fraxel procedure, and she’s not very good at it. The fraxel machine Greenberg has is the 1927/1550 dual. Liz tells me she’s going to set it for fine lines and do the procedure at the 1927 setting, actually the 1927 setting is for pigment and the 1550 setting is for lines or scars. So right off the bat I know she doesn’t know how to operate the machine. Now weeks out from having it done I have major hyperpigmentation and my skin looks so much worse then before. All she did was apply a massive amount of heat under the skin that caused damage. I got a slight crust that came off after 2 days and now almost 2 months out my face is still red from all the massive heat she put into my face because she doesn’t know the proper settings. An ablative full-field CO2 laser would leave someone red for this long not fraxel when done correctly. I’m now being treated by my dermatologist who was astounded by the amount of redness and hyperpigmentation i have. I’ve had the procedure done several times in the past, but this was my first and last time with Liz. My skin looks rougher and worse since allowing her to do this procedure. All sun spots still here, some ever darker now. Hyperpigmentation all over! Texture worse, and red….I’m not talking rosary pink cheeks. I would not go again, even if it was free. Don’t be lured in by Specials, and given a false sense of skill based off reviews written by friends. Horrible experience! It’s unfair practices, Greenberg using his name as a Plastic Surgeon while having someone from there Beauty Academy preform the procedure. Actually based on state law and code of ethics, Laser use must be performed under the “direction and supervision” of licensed physicians. An aesthetician can fire a laser only for the purpose of hair removal. If you’d had issues like I’ve had, consider contacting an attorney. Horrible experience! In my opinion a doctor should be evaluated on two levels. First his skills to heal and secondarily his ability to empathize and communicate (bedside manner) with that patient . Dr. Greenberg passes with high marks on both levels..

I cannot say enough and be more thankful and grateful to have had Dr. Greenberg work on me.  His precision and caring manner is only exceeded by his expertise.  I would recommend him enthusiastically.

Dr. Burt Greenberg and his staff are amazing. They are compassionate and truly care about you as a person. They are always helpful. Answer your questions timely and completely. They go above and beyond to help you, be there for you. Dr. Greenberg is available essentially round-the-clock to answer questions and provide guidance. Did Fraxel here. I live in Brooklyn, but drove out here because it's so much more affordable to do lasers in Long Island than in NYC. I was so impressed with the office and the staff. You won't regret having a treatment done here, highly recommend.

Dr. Greenberg did an excellent job repairing a nasty chin laceration sustained by my son after a bad fall. We are very grateful to him for accepting the call to come to the emergency room late on a Sunday night in the middle of this pandemic. Thank you Dr. Greenberg!!

Dr. Greenberg is the best plastic surgeon I have been to. As a Pharmacist, I was glad I chose him to do my nose. He did a wonderful job and I will always use him in the future.

The office is so peaceful, beautifully decorated, and most importantly clean. I appreciated their approach to safety (now more than ever). Peggy mailed my numbing cream for my Fraxel treatment to help ensure the procedure was as comfortable as possible. Lizbeth walked me through the process and set very clear expectations on healing and best practices. She was very patient and made sure I comfortable and totally informed. I have needed Dr Greenberg for my kids 4 times for stitches. He is Great with the kids and does such a wonderful job. I always have his number for emergencies and he always answers right away. I would highly recommend him!

I went in to Dr. Greenberg to get fraxel laser on my face for my brown spots. I had two treatments about 5-6 months apart (although he suggested 4 weeks apart if I remember correctly). I’ll admit that I’m super sensitive to pain so wasn’t looking forward to it. Yes, it was uncomfortable but a couple of hours later I was fine. My skin acted just as he told me it would. I would get a sunburned look and sensation and then a few days later I’d notice flaking and peeling. I am happy to say that my skin is gorgeous, glowing and 95% of my spots are gone! I look about 15 younger! I have one stubborn spot that lightened up a lot but alas it’s not completely gone. I am very happy with my results! Dr. Greenberg is top-notch in his knowledge, work and bedside manner. He called as he said he would to ask how I was doing and if I had any concerns, which I did not. I highly recommend him! Dr. Greenberg is a very caring and tentative doctor. He helped my daughter with an emergency injury to her lip and required stitches. 5 days later my daughter had another injury to the same spot :( and he arranged to meet us a PM pediatrics and stitched her up again. Today we had our post op visit in his office, which is beautiful! I would highly recommend him even though I hope we have no more further injuries with our kids. Thank you Dr. Greenberg for everything!!!

I have only words of praise and gratitude for Dr. Burt Greenberg, Plastic Surgeon, who helped me after a bad accident in which my face and and nose were injured in December 2018. In a month after I fell Dr. Greenberg did Rhino and Septoplasty of my deformed nose. I can only say that I am so grateful to him for his expert skill when he operated on my nose, which now is straightened, and it looks natural and normal. In addition, I can breathe well though my nose. In summary, Dr. Greenberg did a wonderful service for me. He is to be congratulated and praised for his talent as a Plastic Surgeon. I just want to say THANK-YOU so much Dr. Greenberg, and also THANKS to your excellent office staff - Peggy, Lisa and Stella.

I recently went to the emergency room requiring stitches to my face and I feel very fortunate that Dr. Greenberg was on call that night. He put me at ease right away with his calm and confident bedside manner. He did an excellent job with the stitches and assured me that I would have very little scarring. His office staff is a pleasure to deal with - they are very accommodating, helpful and pleasant.

I highly recommend Dr.Greenberg. He shows excellent bedside manner, answered all of my questions, and aided in the process of my recovery from a traumatic injury. Dr Greenberg you are an amazing surgeon and wanted to thank you for performing my surgery. I am very happy with the results. The amount of care and passion you and your wonderful staff showed me made the entire experience smooth and easy despite my nervousness. I just wanted to express my gratitude for helping me recover from the physical trauma of the car accident, and having a great attitude about my self with the way I look post surgery.

Last week I had a few procedures down, including a face lift and liposuction. I cannot express how grateful I am to the doctor. I feel confident and excited for the results. I decided to to go for the PermaLip FDA approved lip implant with Dr. Burt Greenberg. The process took only 30 minutes and was painless. After an hour of the procedure I was feeling great and already on my computer working. My procedure wasn't even 24 hours ago and already Dr. Burt Greenberg has called twice to check in. The results and customer service provided were unparalleled to any other plastic surgeon I have ever worked with.

I recently visited Dr. Burt Greenberg in Great Neck, NY for Botox and Restylane Filler. My friend highly recommended Dr. Greenberg and told me she was very pleased with her own results provided by him over many years. This was my first time having injections and I was understandably apprehensive. Dr. Burt Greenberg was very professional and immediately made me feel comfortable. His staff is fantastic! My results look very natural and symmetrical. I look great now at the six month mark!

Extraordinarily professional and efficient. He stitched up my five year olds chin after a fall. He was very good with my son and he made my wife and I feel at ease. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Greenberg was unbelievable in stitching up my 3 yo who split her chin open. He was beyond patient and calm dealing with my daughter and myself. Even his staff is wonderful and I was able to make a follow up appointment with ease. I am very thankful for his help and highly recommend him.

Dr. Greenberg did a fantastic job on my mother's finger when she was seen by him in the ER after slamming her finger in a car door. Dr. Greenberg gave us his cell phone number for follow up questions and was really very sweet to my mom, who is 86 years old, when we went for 2 follow up visits to his office. My mom's finger has healed beautifully after her fairly severe accident, thanks to Dr. Greenberg's expertise.

Dr. Greenberg is straight-forward, thorough, and leaves little to chance. He has the patient's best interest at heart and isn't afraid to take on the tough cases. Excellent surgical skills. I have known Dr. Greenberg for 15 years. He repaired my face after I was attacked by a rottweiler. He has also stitched my daughter when she was less than 2 and was amazing with her. He has always seen us in an emergency. His work is impeccable. I would highly recommend him.

My son sustained a nasty cut to his wrist and needed 22 stitches which was performed by Dr. Greenberg upon going to the emergency room. Dr. Greenberg was professional and explained everything regarding the procedure and was able to speak to my 12 year old in a manner that was conducive to keeping him calm. Highly recommend Dr Greenberg. He kept the office open for my daughter for an emergency at closing time, gave us his cell so we can communicate until we got to Great Neck. The staff is terrific. We appreciated his care and kindness. There is literally no scar that is visible on my daughter's forehead, we're thrilled!

After accident -Dr. Greenberg responded to emergency room- was extremely caring, reassuring ,and made me feel that I was in very good hands. Follow up visit to his office confirmed that. My injuries are healing nicely and I would recommend Dr. Greenberg to my family and friends.

Dr Greenberg took care of my son Jack from 2 months old when he was born with a congenital defect in his right hand. The care, compassion, time and energy he gave us was second to NONE. His staff was incredible, office immaculate and most important, our son (now 15) trusted Dr Greenberg enough to walk hand in hand into the OR (3 or 4 times). I know he is extremely talented from looking at his work with adults while in the office but its his bedside manner and heart we loved and trusted.

Dr. Greenberg provided me with rhinoplasty surgery following a broken nose. He listened carefully to what I wanted in my reconstruction and couldn't have been more accommodating. I am so pleased with my new nose... It is subtle and exactly what I wanted!! I wish I hadn't waited for the accident to do the surgery. His staff was so helpful and they made the experience a warm and inviting one. I am grateful to everyone in this office- especially Dr. Greenberg!

I had an overall great experience with Dr. Greenberg and his staff. Ranging from his wonderful right hand Debbie, to his anesthesiologist and nurse who made me feel extremely comfortable and calm prior to my procedure. It was my first plastic surgery and I was a bit scared, but they took all my anxieties away. I recently had my procedure done, so the final result cannot be see yet. However, I am extremely happy with what I see now. Dr. Greenberg was easy to reach post op and called to check up on me himself. Every question and concern I had (there were many) was addressed pre and post surgery and it felt comforting being able to call and text him if I felt something was wrong or uncomfortable. I had a rhinoplasty done and then lip injections, I love the results and they were exactly what I wanted, even though initially my lips were extremely swollen and I felt I made a mistake, Dr. Greenberg assured me they would go down and a few days later I realized that the only mistake I made was freaking out. I am extremely satisfied with him and plan on doing breast implants in the near future. Dr. Greenberg was extremely comforting and explained everything in detail regarding my procedure and what to expect. He was not pushy at all, I took my time making my decision. He was extremely easy to reach and that made me feel "safe". Knowing that God forbid something went wrong at home after surgery and he would be a phone call away day or night made me feel very comforting. The office was extremely clean with a nice interior and the waiting time was very short. After meeting with him, I felt he was the right doctor for me and I most definitely recommend him to others. I recently was in a skiing accident in which I broke my nose in several places and was administered sixteen stitches to close a laceration on my face. As soon as I met Doctor Greenberg, I knew I was in good hands. He is professional, efficient, meticulous, and kind. It is clear that he takes great pride in his work. I was greeted with open arms by his lovely staff in Great Neck and immediately felt welcome. I was extremely concerned about how my accident would impact my appearance but am thrilled to say that Doctor Greenberg's work has many of my peers convinced that I made up the ski accident to get time off of work!
