Staff and doctor are amazing. First I got a timely appointment. They took my complete history of pain acknowledging everything I have tried in the past. They took a series of X-rays that had not been done before explained them to me and even gave me copies. They all took their time with me and I feel confident that soon I will be pain free. Thank you so much.

Very compassionate, detailed evaluation, thorough explanation of procedures and options, overall knowledge of specialty, excellent and friendly faculty, prompt appointments with very little wait time. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Prukop for your foot care needs!

I have called multiple times, always tells me the office is closed

I do not recommend this doctor. I had done my research. Arrived with my x-ray from PCP in hand, indicating a heel spur on my left foot. Had suffered for 7 months with heel pain and had previously added orthotic insoles, done stretching exercises, and used icing as well -- over the past 7 months. Pain had decreased with footwear on but not with bare foot. Was requesting the possibility of a corticosteroid injection or other recommendations for long-term solutions. Before even seeing the doctor, his assistant immediately informed me that the doctor was requesting x-rays. I reminded her that I had provided x-rays -- to her own hands -- not 5 minutes before. Upon re-checking with the doctor, I was informed that the "angle" of my foot was not acceptable for the x-rays. My PCP had taken different angles of my foot including one with my foot flat on the surface. I had the x-ray cd myself, access to the images, and had clearly seen the heel spur. I felt that the office was trying to pull a fast one and get more money from me. There was NO reason for the doctor to request additional x-rays. Then, when called on it, I was provided a bogus excuse about "angles." When the doctor arrived to see me, no mention was made of the x-rays. Nothing makes me more infuriated than a doctor who tries to enter additional charges for no reason except to line his own pockets. Upon meeting with the doctor, on 2 separate occasions, he launched into a diatribe about (1) pcps not better educating their patients about plantar fasciitis relative to heel spurs and their lack of knowledge beyond getting an x-ray interpretation from a radiologist and (2) how Foot Solutions/owner (by name) needs to do a better job of providing orthotic followup care to customers. I felt as though I was being lectured to or disciplined with these comments. It was in no way necessary to vent to a new patient and to express his frustrations. He also inappropriately questioned me when he learned that I had previously seen a colleague of his at the same practice and opted not to return for a second visit. He jumped to the inaccurate conclusion that I did not see his colleague, again, because his colleague surely must have said I had plantar fasciitis and not just a heel spur and that I didn't understand that/which is why I didn't follow up. In fact, it was NONE of Dr. Prukop's business why I declined a 2nd visit with his colleague, but his colleague never indicated I had anything except a heel spur. Prukop seems obsessed with proving someone has plantar fasciitis. He seemed adamant to prove to me that I have flat feet -- which I don't. I don't know what the strong push was --- as there was no push back from me. I just was there for a solution to fix the pain --- regardless! Geez. Whatever the cause, let's talk solutions buddy. Let's not blame pcps, foot solutions, me, etc. This guy has a real chip on his shoulder, some anger issues, and has trouble LISTENING! While I totally wanted to learn from his wisdom and expertise, I felt like it was a wrestling match to try and get some time to explain/be heard. I just gave up trying -- because he had an agenda. I can't say that my needs were on his agenda. BTW, the reason I did not follow up with his colleague in the same office -- Complete Family Footcare -- is that the other doctor spent no time explaining and all the time talking about his wife and pushing his orthotics guy on me. He just wanted to make a sale for custom orthotics. While proper fitting footwear is a critical component, please just provide patients with the information and allow us to decide when and where we go to purchase them. Rushing to purchase devices that cost several hundred dollars is not medicine. Do not recommend place or doctor. I come from a medical family; my father is a doctor. He would never treat patients this way. And, I am a professor myself. I can't imagine treating my students with this little regard. If you can, go somewhere else and see someone with more respect and not out for money or ego. I do not recommend this doctor. I had done my research. Taking down negative reviews that warn people about Prokup’s practice...a disgusting person. This man is by far the most unprofessional in the field. I person who pushes his snake oil products before they get real treatment. Fraudulent insurance submissions, sounds like the government should investigate this so called Doctor.

I had been having pain on inside of my foot and around ankle area which had gotten worse within the last year and the pain was so unbearable it was now causing me to limp frequently. I read good reviews about Dr. Prukop and decided to go with him for help. After xrays, walking test and me explaining pain and symptoms, Dr. Prukop diagnosed me with flat feet and plantar fasciitis which didn’t seem to fit my pain and symptoms. I even told him my heels didn’t hurt or the bottom (plantar) of my feet which I had read were some of the many symptoms of plantar fasciitis. I told him the inside of my foot along the ankle and arch area is where the constant pain was. He said patients with plantar fasciitis don’t always have all the symptoms at once. He then sent me to get orthopedic inserts with his fitting guy/dept to have me measured for shoe inserts. He also mentioned I needed to buy specialty tennis shoes for the gym since I told him I exercise frequently. His orthopedic inserts fitting guy sent me to a specialty foot wear store to buy inserts because he said I really didn’t need custom orthopedic inserts. The specialty foot wear store orthopedist said to me, after getting me on his foot analysis machine, analyzing my feet and doing a walk test on me, that I definitely did not have flat feet! But he said specialty shoes would help with my over pronation so I bought some Brooks tennis shoes. Yet, when I went back to Dr. Prukop, he got upset at me for telling him what that store orthopedist told me and scream at me “How do you not have flat feet?!! (Pulls back my feet to stretch my arch) “You have pancake feet! that’s what God gave you!” He then got up and left me in the room alone! What a jerk! He didn’t even notice I was wearing Brooks tennis shoes. He is so rude, unprofessional and proud. He won’t admit he has made an incorrect diagnosis or try to help you! My pain in my foot persisted so I ended up going to another podiatrist who correctly diagnosed me with posterior tibial tendinitis which matched exactly my pain and symptoms! I know this because I did some research and read up on this diagnosis. Additionally, this new Podiatrist verified I definitely did not have flat feet or plantar fasciitis and that to avoid the tendon being stretched and getting inflamed, I should not wear any type of flat shoes, especially tennis! Complete opposite of what Dr. Prukop had told me! Don’t waste your time with this jerk! He is rude, unprofessional and a jerk! He incorrectly diagnosed and mistreated me. I do not recommend him at all!

We were very impressed with Dr. Prukop and his staff. Very efficient and friendly. In and out of the office within an hour.

Very attentive staff. Dr. Prokup treats my father with dignity and respect. Always mindful of his healing.

Dr. Prukop's staff is very efficient and knowledgeable at what they do. From the front desk secretary to the asst nurse to the xray tech, they were courteous, professional, and expedient at getting me quality service. Dr. Prukop himself is the first doctor whom I've encountered since I returned from the Army back in 2001 who came across very knowledgeable in his expertise. I've seen military doctors, private doctors, ER doctors, and none wowed me like he did. Thank God that there's finally a doctor, in this case a foot doctor, who knows what he's doing and knows what he's talking about! I went in for a ingrown nail removal on both of my big toes. Staff is very friendly, and Dr. Prukop is very good with his practice. My procedure was very fast and painfree (except for the anesthesia part). Overall, my experience was good. I highly recommend Dr. Prukop if you need ingrown toe nail removal.

You have to visit Dr Bryan Prukop at Family Foot Care. I am very happy with him and will continue to see him in the future. Great service from staff.
