Dr. Bryan W Burns

I made an appointment as a new patient over a month ago, and showed up about 10 minutes early to my appointment with my paperwork already completed and got checked in by the receptionist who was very nice. I waited about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before asking the receptionist if she knew how long the wait time would be, and she said she didn’t but that I was next. So I waited another 25 minutes before I was finally called back by the doctors assistant, and I expressed frustration at the wait time and asked if it was normal to wait that long even when you have an appointment and she told me that it can be for Dr. Burns, and I expressed that it was kind of ridiculous to wait almost an hour after your appointment time. I was frustrated but I was not being rude, but when Dr. Burns came into the exam room he asked me a couple of questions and then suggested I find another doctor, and at that point I agreed. You should not be accepting new patients or be scheduling so many patients in a day if you’re going to take that long with your patients. I was respectful of their time by showing up early, and Dr. Burns was not respectful of my time.

S.LE. treatment. No. He prescribed my mother steroids to her death. This doctor is irresponsible. I called him the day of my mother's death and told him she was bleeding out. He told me her meds were so great it was probably because she didn't take her stomac meds. I'll never forger. She died later that night from the ludicrous dose if oral steroidal he rxd her. And would not see her even when she was suffering full renal shut down. She died because of him.

Dr. Burns and Staff are the busies and nicest folks you will meet. Great job Steve DeBusk

Dr Burns is very personal and takes his time getting to know you and your issues/illnesses. Genuinely cares about his staff and his patients.

I love the way the people at this facility treat everyone. The nurses and doctors are among the most respectful that I've ever encountered. However, when I need to cancel my appointment tonight before my appointment tomorrow due to the bad weather or not sick family member, they had zero way to contact them. You cannot call and leave a voicemail, they don't put email or messaging on their website, and they don't have a messenger service apparently. It's like it's 1875. I moved from RI to Kansas 2 and a half years ago. I was so scared I wouldnt find a doctor I would click with. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever had in my entire life. Listens, tells you the truth, dosent sugar coat anything. And last but not least gives you advice and cares about your life and wants to listen

have gone to him for 26yrs all my family goes to him compassionate, listens to you, saves me money by going to him instead of some specialists. Have gone to him he tells me whats wrong and double checked with a specialist and the tell me the samething so i trust him completely

he is so good its hard to get an appointment with him but if you do go to him you will love him. very caring, listens to you, and figures out what is wrong. best doctor ever

Made a new patient appointment 30 days ago. When I went to my appointment I filled out paperwork and waited over an hour. The front desk woman with a very RUDE and SNOTTY VOICE and ATTITUDE said they were not taking new patients. I told her that I had made the appointment a month ago, got a babysitter for my son, and drove 30 minutes to get here. She would not listen to anything I had to say. Dr. Burns is the best. He’s compassionate, extremely knowledgeable-but can break down “Dr. jargon”. He establishes relationships with patients to understand whole body health. Dr. Burns ultimately has been extremely involved in my wellness! Although we still are grateful for his extended sick care hours that accommodate my family’s needs. His staff is incredibly kind and eager to help. Thank you Dr. Burns & all Pure Health family for providing excellent primary care for my family. Dr. Burns is the best. Love love him and his staff. Always willing to work with me and he is always trying to figure out my problems and symptoms and find a cure in any way

used to like him but not anymore he has slacked off on caring for his patient and mad some big mistakes in diagnosis and not enough to find out what was wrong I am switching I had been going to him since he took over for dr mccarthy

The entire office was friendly and professional. Dr. Burns is exceptional!! He listened, was patient, made me feel at ease and not like I was wasting his time. Would highly recommend him you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Burns listening to your problems and explains in easy to understand language. He is careful not to over prescribe medicine. He does a very thorough blood test not just your one page report and carefully goes over the report with you. He is also knowledgeable in sports injuries.

Brian burns... so many words. I came to him as a new patient full of anixiey and sadness. Two months later after seeing him it Was like I was a different person and for the better. I highly recommend dr burns. He is a very kind guy and knows what is best for his patients.

I’m a new patient here and so far I’m extremely happy with this office. Dr. Burns quickly diagnosed and resolved an issue I’ve struggled with for years and seen two other physicians, including a specialist, about. His staff is knowledgeable and responsive and the facility is convenient and clean.

Dr. Burns has been my primary care physician since 2003. He's knowledgeable, compassionate, down to earth and has a great sense of humor. He never appears rushed or inattentive. He's like an old friend you haven't seen in awhile. I can't imagine seeing anyone else!

This was the first doctor’s visit I’ve had where I felt a physician really listened to me and what I was experiencing. Dr Burns is incredible - not only extremely knowledgeable, but capable of sharing that knowledge with patients in a manner that is pleasant and is a tribute to his extensive medical experience.

Dr. Burns always takes the time to listen, ask questions to pinpoint your needs for treatment. Facility is always clean and has convenient hours.

I’m lucky we found Dr Burns years ago when he was at the other clinic. He has watched my kids grow up, providing for all their healthcare needs. Now my youngest son is an adult and he, along with my other children has chosen to stay with Dr Burns. He treats me for multiple conditions and has incredible knowledge on every medical issue I have ever seen him for. He listens patiently and treats me respectfully. He is an amazing doctor!

Called to ask about wake in appointments. I was told come on in from 8am-8pm told them I had a fever and was in pain. Waiting in the waiting room over an hour. When asked I was told “Oh yeah it’s usually that long of a wait “ I feel like that should have been stated at the phone call and I would have chosen an urgent care ...... still waiting an hour and a half later Called to ask about wake in appointments. Dr. Burns is absolutely amazing! He has perfect bedside manner and takes as much times as needed to listen to your needs.

Dr. Burns has been my primary care physician for over 3 years.He is an Excellent physicians and So are the nurses .Also the receptionists are very friendly and always helpful. Overall its the Best medical practice I have ever dealt with. Highly recommended !

Amazing and Caring Primarily Doctor for over 5 years. He is not Only Great at what does but he is also Great by surrendering him self with a truly amazing staff. Highly recommend.

Excellent medical knowledge, great rapport w/patients, nurses and staff are very service oriented, make you feel important. He & his staff go out of their way to make your experience a positive one.

Dr. Burns has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. He always takes whatever time I need to listen and explain.

I have been seeing Dr. Burns for almost 20 years and I have never had any problems with him or his staff. His diagnosis is usually spot on and resolves it as quick as possible. His staff is always professional and courteous. I consider him to be a part of my family. I wish I could see him more, but I understand that waiting to see him means that he is good at what he does and is liked by many.

Dr. Burns & nurse practitioner, Jamie Klamm have done a great job taking care of all our medical needs & answering all our questions for many years. I always go prepared with a list of questions & hand him a copy. We go threw all the questions one by one. He answers them with terminology that we can understand. His staff a PureHealth Medical Center also has a great "Customer Service" Attitude. My wife & I highly recommend he & his staff. He also has coverage on the weekends.

Worse doctor I have ever had. There is something inherently dishonest about Pure Health. They still have cards for physicians that no longer work there up front (i.e. Ann Karty). That is scary: trying to make people believe there are more doctors there than not. Dr. Burns is a super insecure doctor that doesn't want patients that ask questions. He told me he was the doctor so I should basically shut up. Rude. The physician assistants there are better than he is and I prefer to see them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Burns for over 12 years, and since he moved from the Blackbob location, to his own location of Purehealth, he has become rushed and doesn't seem to listen anymore. Will either order blood work, or send you off to a specialist. We only see Kristen Hancock anymore, because she still takes the time to listen and doesn't rush you at all. The receptionist here are horrible!! They don't pass on messages as asked, are very rude, and don't care.

Most INcomplete general physical I've ever had. Consisted of stethoscope over my thick shirt and then sent to give a blood sample. That was it. Just another customer to bill, I guess. Never go to this guy.

I have been seeing Dr. Burns for 14 years. When I changed insurance companies at the beginning of the year and later found out Dr. Burns was no longer a provider, I literally cried then called to change my insurance plan to one that included him! Great nurses as well. Only complaint is I do not care for the receptionists, young, on cell phones, sometimes short and conversing with eacother while you are standing there. If you can't get in to see him, I highly recommend Kristen Hancock, so swee
