Bryan Stapp Armijo

I had Breast Cancer in 2022 with reconstructive surgery. After the first bilateral mastectomy i developed a bleed and had to be taken back in to surgery. After the second reconstructive surgery i had no blood flow in one breast and had to be taken back to surgery. At my two week post op there was 2 open wounds under the breast they had to reopen due to loss of blood flow. I started to feel pain in the breast and one particular wound was now open to the size of a quarter and there was a plastic piece and stitches falling out of it. I keep calling and sending pictures. The NP got on the phone and told me that it is superficial and could take weeks to heal. I then developed a fever, was referred to a wound doctor and was diagnosed with pseudomonia, strep B and a wound that tunneled 4” across my breast. At my 6 week post off i finally saw the doctor and after telling him about my problems his response was he just cuts and sews. Your care comes from a medical asst 95% of the time.

Him and his staff are so kind. I got a tummy tuck and it was beautiful! Overall great experience we definitely go back!

I was very particular when searching for a plastic surgeon, went to several different doctors, but chose Dr. Armijo and so glad I did! Dr Armijo is an amazing surgeon and I am beyond happy with the results of my tummy tuck and breast lift. He did exactly what he said he would do and now my body is on point and I look terrific. Dr. Armijo listens to the patients concerns with deep compassion. His approach is a conservative approach which I loved. The way he explained things was fantastic. If you have any plastic surgery needs this is the ONLY Doc you should see. His staff is gracious and kind so you feel very valued as a top priority.

There are not enough kind words to describe how amazing my experience was with Dr. Armijo and his staff. From the second I entered the door, each nurse, MA, PA, Patient Coordinator and Dr. Armijo were friendly, kind and knowledgeable. During the consultation, Dr. Armijo was encouraging and extremely professional - he has an amazing bedside manner. After the consultation, his insurance coordinator works with your insurance company and does everything in their power to have what they can covered. Once approved by insurance, a patient coordinator works with you to make sure you are fully prepared for your surgery - within a day, you can schedule your procedure, download all documentation needed for your surgery and have collateral for the recovery process. Prior to my surgery date, at my fiance's request, Dr. Armijo's PA took time after a surgery to meet with us in person to go through all steps of the surgery and recovery [typically this is conducted over the phone]. She was patient, knowledgeable, kind and made us feel confident and excited about the procedure. On the day of the surgery, I got really nervous, as I checked into the hospital. The nurses employed by the hospital told me they had seen thousands of surgeries in their combined 60+ years as nurses and that Dr. Armijo was the best they had come across - in their words "he changes lives". Because he did such an amazing job, the recovery has been minimally painful. I would go back to Dr. Armijo in a second! I can't say enough good things and I am forever thankful to him and his staff. Dr. Armijo is one of the most caring people I have ever met. He is always so upbeat and wants to make sure that you understand everything he will be doing and the positive/negative that could happen. He is a great listener & is always looking out for your best interests. He takes the time to answer your questions and even calls on the weekend or evening if you have questions I would never hesitate to recommend him & I have to numerous friends. I first heard about Dr. Armijo through an acquaintance that had done tons of research/interviews and ultimately decided to use Dr. Armijo for her procedure...she could not say enough good things about him and convinced me that I needed to meet with him about getting the tummy tuck I have always wanted after having three kids. I am so grateful for her recommendation and am so impressed with Dr. Armijo and his team, taking that first step and scheduling a consultation was the best thing I have ever done for myself! I had my procedure a few months ago and I have never been happier with my body than I am today, I look absolutely amazing and people can't believe that I have had three kids. When faced with a life-threatening, body changing illness I was overwhelmed with decisions and questions.
