Very unprofessional staff.
I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Torkan who was able to diagnose and treat an ailment I had been suffering with for a very long time. No other doctor could find what he did. His physical examination was thorough and comprehensive. They don’t make doctors like these anymore!
Waited three hours in a disheveled lobby only to finally see the doctor for a mere five minutes while he had his cellphone on speaker-mode with someone (an utter violation of patient-doctor privacy!) the entire time. Dr. Torkan is also now the only doctor I've ever had who, when I asked for a "check-up," does not actually perform an analysis but strictly sends me for blood work. Unprofessional and a violation of I-don-know-how-many medical practices. To see the doctor, I had to visit the office 2 times and waited a cumulative 3 hours. They told me to come back a 3rd time because they were busy and he had meetings. When I finally got in, it was the quickest doctor check-up ever because the doctor was too busy. He provides a nice +service to the low-income community, but insured patients are better off at a real clinic. This was a non-appointment clinic in a ghetto strip mall with a dirty and run-down office. Unbelievable, Blue Shield!
