Dr Stechmiller is one of the best physicians I have encountered In my 87 years. He is highlycompetent, knowledgeable, compassionate & caring. UF Shands should honor this outstanding physician for his many years of distinguished service to hematology, oncology, the medical community and his patients.
Dr. Stechmiller was caring, compassionate and took the time to explain the complexities of my Dad's cancer. When we left the hospital and went back to our hometown, he gave me his cell # to check in and provide guidance. He went above and beyond to help my Dad. I only wish he had been my Dad's attending oncologists the entire time at Shands. He is exceptional and I am grateful for his generosity during a difficult time.

Dr. Stechmiller is a wonderful physician. He has a great staff too. His nurse (Nancy) and his PA (Katie) are both incredible as well. All three have been instrumental in their team work to treat my husband. We recommend him to everyone!
