I attempted to schedule an appointment for plantar fasciitis. The conversation. Was immediately turned to insurence (I have extraordinary coverage as a military retiree). I had no referral because I am traveling. I am capable. and willing to pay up front, and seek insurance reimbursement afterward. I felt they were more interested in telling me why I couldn't be seen rather than finding the next available opening to treat my foot pain. I am a retired health care manager with oversight of award winning clinics. When training my staff I always taught them "If you are going to give a no answer you should season it with three yes answers." Tell them what you can do rather than what you cannot. My experience on the phone is an example of the "I dare you to make me help you" attitude you sometimes encounter in the health care profession. There is no one I would trust with my feet more, even with small emergencies like deep deep splinters. He had NO open dates for several days but saw me almost immediately! TEN STARS!!!!

Dr. Olson is an amazing doctor! His staff is awesome!! They are very welcoming and polite!

I do enjoy my appointments at Dr. Olson's office and feel comfortable with Dr. Olson and his staff. He does have several colorful tops, shoes and furniture that brightens my visit. Thank You Doctor!

I had many appointments with Doctor Olson, he is an expert in his field. He is down to earth, tells you straight forward about the limits and what is best for you in your present condition. And will look to save your feet and capabilities without putting them at risk. Doctor Olson had said in his own medical opinion, surgery would not help me and I had no reason to doubt him. After 3 years, He was totally right in his expertise and I thank God for taking his opinion seriously. I am still high arched, living with my condition, walking on my own with inserts after 1 year on crutches, another year with a cane. I'm not 80 or 100 percent back to normal, but I can walk. I have been to many podiatrists over the last 30 years and Dr Olson is the BEST! He takes the time to explain everything and is personally vested in your health and well-being. I am pain free for the first time in 30 years after being under his care!

Today was my first time seeing Dr. Olson. I was scared stiff. Sweating like all get out. I've had foot problems before and my visits to other physicians have not been pleasant. Dr. Olson (and his staff) are amazing. Very welcoming, very caring and warm. Dr. Olson gave me 2 injections in my foot ( I knew it was coming and that's why I was scared stiff), but he was so gentle and made it as comfortable as possible. Not nearly as bad as I've had in the past. I will highly recommend him to anyone who may be in need.
