Great Doctor!

I have had 4 previous shoulder surgeries…3 performed by Dr Comisar. I wouldn’t go to any more surgeon!

Caring, knowledgeable, and explained my choices for care.

Dr. Comisar is the best. He fixed my shoulder 6 years ago, and I recently saw him regarding issues on my other shoulder. He was thorough and very helpful with a plan on correcting the issue. I would recommend him!

This was my second visit to Dr. Comisar. I originally came in for a left shoulder issue. After an initial visit and xray, and consult with doc. I felt more comfortable than before. I didnt feel pressured to get an MRI ,or explore surgical options. Doc simply told me his recommendation and expectations. I feel overall that he is an excellent provider. Listens to his patients concerns, and needs. And address's them accordingly. Thanks so much Doc

Dr. Comisar is very professional and explains everything. He also let me make the decisions, with his recommendations. I sincerely like that. He answered all my questions and gave me ample time to discuss things.

Dr. Comisar is always very professional. A very thorough doctor who listens to your concerns and performs an examination to explore possible causes of your described issues. He provides a detailed explanation of test and x-ray results and is always available for followup issues should they arise.

Yes I would recommend Dr. Comisar for orthopedic exam, surgery and recovery. Very personable and professional.

Dr Comisar is excellent. He listens and considers without rushing. He provides options and is caring.

He is very knowledgeable and thorough but is horrible with time management. He sees too many patients in one day. I had to wait over an hour for my scheduled appointment

Dr. Comisar did my 2 total shoulder replacements this year and he and his teams did excellent work. I have received great therapy from Ortho Neuro as well.

I have had wonderful care from Dr Comisar. I absolutely love him. He is very friendly and takes the time to explain things and never rushes through my care. My surgery was a success and his after care was awesome! I have recommended him to many of my friends and he has also done my sons surgery! I wish all Drs were like him!!

I've now sustained comminuted fractures of my leff and right clavicles, 3 years apart. For both, Dr. Rodney Comisar provided imaging, diagnosis, consult, surgery, and post-op follow-up. After a bad experience elsewhere, I spend significant effort to find a ortho surgeon I like, respect, and trust. If you are needing a knowledgeable, highly skilled MD ortho surgeon, having balanced emotiional intelligence and an abilty to communicate, look no further.

Worked with Dr. Comisar for an ACL injury with complications. Truly appreciate his knowledge of these injuries. The surgery and subsequent rehab process has been excellent. I am encouraged and thankful for his commitment to get me back to my normal activities.

Went to see him for shoulder pain. He proved to be extremely knowledgeable in his field. Problem solver, this is what you want from a doctor. Dr. Comisar put an injection in my shoulder and the next day I noticed the pain was almost gone. Do your own research before you see a doctor. I did.

I went to see Dr. Comisar because of shoulder pain. He was kind, professional and thorough. He gave me a shot in my shoulder and it felt so much better afterwards. He clearly explained everything he was doing and what he found. He used xrays to explain why I felt so much pain. He is a wonderful doctor.

I have gone to Dr. Comisar for both a left and right shoulder. Excellent discussion on treatment and very nice Physical therapy office.

Fabulous. Dr Comisar is absolutely the best. I have been seeing him for over 20 years. There are times when his office is a little behind but he is one of best surgeons in the state. If you are up for shoulder or knee surgery or care, see him first.

Second appointment with Dr. Comisar and once again the appointment was right on time. Dr.Comisar explains in detail and solutions to my knee issue in clear and concise explanations. Dr.Comisar makes you feel very much at ease and I have all the confidence in his Expertertise. I highly recommend Dr. Comisar

Dr Comisar did a total shoulder replacement.He did a wonderful surgical work . My shoulder feels good and at 4 weeks after I am pain free I think dr Comisar is a great surgeon and I am so glad I traveled down from Lima Ohio to have do my surgery

The wait in the Pickerington office is absolutely ridiculous. Every appointment we have had we have had to wait at least 2 hours!

I highly recommend Dr. Comisar. He was a wonderful doctor and gave me hope that I wouldn't be in pain forever. He listens and is very honest about your options. I am very picky with my specialists and I get upset and nervous easy. He is fantastic and an asset to have in this field. I am so glad I found him.

Why is it so hard to properly schedule this doctors patients so they aren't waiting for him over an hour? Every time at least an hour wait? Unacceptable, his patients time is just as valuable as his.. just take half the amount if that's all you can handle

I recently saw Dr. Comisar for a health issue going back to my service in the military. While he was polite, he seemed to have made up his mind that surgery was not an solution to the pain and the issue with my shoulder. I went and got a second opinion from another doctor who after reviewing my MRI's I had, determined that surgery was my best option. I don't understand why the doctor was dead set against surgery.
