Exceptionally rude. Threatened to revoke my medical on several occasions. Colluded with other AME’s to sabotage my medical records. My airline has stopped dealing with dr Chien because of his arrogance and petulant behavior. “Rudest sob I’ve dealt with in 30 years” - airline rep. If you have a complex case or need a waiver then Dr Chien is worth his weight in gold. He knows the ins and outs of the FAA medical system and can help you navigate it successfully in an honest and efficient manner. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Takes advantage of people and is incredibly arrogant. Did not have a good experience and would not recommend.

Absolutely excellent experience. Dr Chien is knowledgeable, professional, and in tune with FAA requirements.

Extremely rude and unpleasant. He will yell at you for no reason. A simple online search can confirm his behavior in many online forums. I'd recommend ANY OTHER organization to get advice, they have been significantly more helpful.
