Dr. Brown Harris III

Just want to start out by thanking Dr. Harris and his great staff! I was very nervous about having oral surgery, but Dr. Harris explained the procedure very clearly. After the procedure, I was amazed that I had almost no pain or swelling. Dr. Harris called and checked on me after the oral surgery, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Harris and his great staff!

Beware Dr. Harris. He prescribed for me to have my remaining teeth pulled, and an all in 6 dental bridge installed. 2 of the 6 implants failed in the molar area. I have 4 implants left in the front and offer no chewing support. I have to use a denture. I have since been diagnosed with extreme bone loss and a poor candidate for bone grafts. I reported this to the “Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners”. Dr. Harris was issue a “Letter of Concern”, and I was advised to seek legal counsel

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and had a great experience. I was very nervous about the procedure but it ended up being nothing to worry about. The whole experience was quick, easy, and relatively painless. Dr. Harris even personally called me later that day to see how I was doing! His staff was friendly and easy to work with. The only thing Dr. Harris could improve on is he always seems to be in a rush, although I do feel as though he explained everything well and answered all my questions.

My surgery went well. I was in minimal pain for the first 2-3 days following surgery. I scheduled an early follow up, however, b/c I started developing an extreme achyness in my right jaw into my ear. The pain would wake and keep me up at night starting on the 4th or 5th day following surgery. I knew this healing pattern was not normal and through research on dry sockets, I saw I was exhibiting all of the symptoms listed. Dr Harris didn't listen to my symtoms, brushed me off and sent me away.

Would not recommend this oral surgeon. Had to get my 4 wisdom teeth removed and my original oral surgeon left so Dr. Harris bought his practice and I was his patient. He didn't really introduce himself and I felt uncomfortable as this was my first "surgery" and being put under. He left a jagged piece of my upper left wisdom tooth that has been more painful and irritating than the post-op recovery process. Have to go get the rest of the tooth out.

Beware of this Doctor!!! My mom had to see this Dr. due to him buying the practice of her original surgeon. All this doctor had to do was uncover her implants and put in some spacers. The experience was horrific. He started cutting her gums within a few seconds of giving her anesthesia and although my mother complained about the extreme pain she was feeling, he did not stop. He kept dropping things on the floor and my mom ended with an infection. This Dr. was a complete nightmare.
