I want to bring awareness. My dad seen this doctor for years (he is 62). Dr. Wasson NEVER had my dad do a routine colonoscopy even though my dad is 62. My dad was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. It has spread to multiple organs and tissues throughout his body. It took TIME for this to happen. My dad even had regular lab work done to monitor his high cholesterol and medication, and yet nothing was said about his blood work indicating liver disease. I am hoping to bring awareness and that if you are 50 or older, do not expect this doctor to recommend a colonoscopy. My dad put trust in his doctor and relied on his medical knowledge, only to be told he has a limited time to live now. Please please please don't rely on this doctor.
