Dr. Shwer and his staff are exceptional, I called the office with foot pain and they got me in right away. Dr. Shwer explained what was going on with my feet, and a cortisone shot and my feet feel brand new! Thanks Dr. Shwer

Excellent Podiatrist...

Dr. Shwer is a kind, knowledgeable, and personable professional. The office staff is pleasant and helpful. He not only treated Father's foot pain with care, but he also answered my questions. I highly recommend him!

Only giving 1 star with is the only way to wire a review. This doctor did nothing to help my foot pain. After a June visit I get a bill in October. I suggest going to another doctor

I have been taking my daughter to this doctor for her feet for over a year now and Dr Shwer is amazing! First it was just for an ingrown toenail, easy peasy. Then I decided to have bunion surgery done on both feet because they were so bad we couldn't hardly find shoes for her. Shes 9. Dr Shwer was so informative, and did a wonderful job on her feet! The nurses and receptionist are also amazing. She had lots of pain the day after surgery and they stayed on the line with me while texting with the doctor and were able to get me connected with him quickly. The are very kind and professional. Great people!!! They waited patiently for me to get seen by the doctor after being 30 minutes after my appointment time and closing. They are very nice!!!

I couldn't be happier! Thank you Dr. Brian Shwer and Staff. My primary care Doctor couldn't see me until Thursday I call just after 1:20 in the afternoon and you were able to fit me into your very busy schedule. You have a busy office. I am so thankful for squeezing me in. I guess that is why you were voted as Desoto's Best!

This all started in the Spring of 2018. I, at the time, a Highschool Sophmore, had to have ingrown toenails removed from both sides of both of my big toes. I had to visit his office a few times, and eventually had to schedule a surgery at the area surgery center. I have autism, and needles are one thing that triggers my anxiety, which caused me to be unable to receive treatment in the office. Dr. Shwer was extremely rude, at one point walking out stating that he had no time for me, while I was in the midst of a panic attack. So we had the treatment done at the surgery center, under anesthesia. Fast forward a year later, to spring 2019. I am now a Highschool Junior. The half of the ingrown toenails returned on both feet. When I saw the rude doctor about this, he said this happens about 1% of the time. How, I ask you, did something that happens 1% of the time happen to me TWICE, one on each foot? So we went through the surgery center again. Great. However, this time, I am 18. So, Shwer and his office has a great idea! Let's bill an 18 year old with autism who hasn't ever had a job, has no bank account, and doesn't even have a drivers license, despite said 18 year olds mother instructing them to put the bill in her name. Fast forward a few months, to now. It's summer of 2019, and I'm getting ready to enter my senior year. I should (and am) be stressing about the upcoming football season, summer reading, what I'm going to wear the first day, and school supplies. I SHOULDN'T be stressing about a 400$ bill that was sent to collections, DESPITE MY MOM SAYING THAT SHE WOULD PAY THE BILL WHEN THEY PUT IT IN HER NAME. I ALSO shouldn't be stressing about losing half of my toenail on my left big toe, and the fact that on my right toe, on the right side of the big toe, it looks like it's going to be ingrown again. I went to a Podatriast in Collierville, who I am planning on going to the next time I need surgery to correct the surgeries performed by Shwer. In fact, the Dr in Collierville said they would be able to use some anxiety reducing medication so the treatment could be performed in house, without needing a surgery center. TL:DR Shwer sucks at performing foot surgeries, tried to bill an 18 year old autistic person with no job, no bank account, despite mother instructing them on how to get paid by her. The staff at Dr. Brian Shwer office are very good, they got me in quickly to see the doctor. The doctor explained why I had heel pain and gave me a brace and a shot. The intern there was very helpful.

Dr. Shwer is the very best. Great staff, courteous, and friendly. If you have have foot issues go to Dr. Shwer, you won’t be disappointed.

Dr Brian Shwer is a patient, compassionate and caring Doctor. He always responds to my foot issues and helps me feel better quickly. His office staff is kind and efficient.

I was in and out very quickly, and I felt very well taken care of. Dr. Schwer took good care of me and offered a really reasonable range of treatments, and it was very evident that he had my interests primary rather than his own bottom line. I would recommend him to anyone!

my son is Type 1 diabetic. I called to make an appointment for a really bad infected ingrown toenail on Thursday at 8am. They couldn't see him until the following Monday at 4:15. I pressed and said he couldn't wait thru the weekend and stated again that he was diabetic and needed to be seen. The receptionist put me on hold and came back and stated that they were booked and could not work him in and suggested we go to the primary care physician. I tried again explaining that he was diabetic and that is why I called a podiatrist and NOT a PCP.. She still made no attempt to even offer to work him in today or tomorrow (Friday) and could only offer the Monday at 4:15 which is 5 whole days. Saw Dr. Shwer seeking a second opinion trying to rectify significant problems with 2 foot surgeries performed elsewhere. I found him to be patient, thorough and helpful. While he concurred for the most part with the first physician I saw seeking in help, he did offer more options down the road if pain absolutely can't be tolerated. Suggested a physician closer to my hometown he felt could do the one procedure that would help, rather than my having to travel to Memphis/Southaven. Dr. Shwer saw me for severe pains in my legs and made me custom orthotics and for the first time in my life I have this incredible relief... in addition he saw me right away, was incredibly compassionate and approachable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend him... don't go anywhere else!

I had to have four toenails permanently removed. I went in and it was over in twenty minutes. Dr. Schwer was great and his nurse too! They used a freezing spray so I didn't even feel the numbing injections. It was over before I knew it. All of muy anxiety was for nothing. He is the best!
